What is the recommended frequency for replacing the Proactiv 460m3/h carbon filter to maintain optimal efficiency in an orchid cultivation environment?
For the ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m3/h carbon filter, the general recommendation is to replace it every 6 to 12 months to ensure optimal efficiency. However, in an orchid cultivation environment where humidity is often high, it is advised to regularly check its efficiency and replace it more frequently, for example every 3 to 6 months. Monitoring air quality and the presence of persistent odors are good indicators to anticipate its replacement.
Does the Proactiv charcoal filter Ø150mm 460 m3/h Garden HighPro really deliver on its durability promises? In clear terms, how long can I count on consistent efficiency before considering a replacement? Should I expect specific maintenance to keep the active carbon performance under real intensive use conditions?
The ProActiv Ø150mm 460 m³/h charcoal filter from Garden HighPro offers exceptional durability thanks to its virgin coconut active charcoal and its robust 420D nylon structure. Under intensive use conditions, it guarantees consistent efficiency for about 12 to 24 months before a replacement is necessary.
Is the ProActiv 460 m³/h filter suitable for installation in a small cultivation area of 80x80 cm with a mandatory silent extractor?
The filter ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h is rather designed for larger spaces than 80x80 cm. Its high flow rate can be excessive for a small cultivation area, which may disrupt air circulation and environmental stability.
For an installation of this size, a silent extractor with a more moderate flow rate would be preferable to ensure optimal air management without creating overly strong negative pressure. It is better to opt for a well-sized and balanced filter and extractor for the size of your cultivation space.
What is the impact of the flow rate of 460 m³/h on the electricity consumption of the extractor associated with the ProActiv 150 mm filter?
The ProActiv filter Ø150 mm with a flow rate of 460 m³/h is passive and does not consume electricity. The consumption entirely depends on the compatible extractor, usually a 150 mm model capable of handling this flow rate.
For a flow rate of 460 m³/h, the extractor typically consumes between 20 and 40 watts, with an average around 30 watts. In continuous operation, this represents an annual consumption of approximately 260 to 270 kWh, which translates to an estimated cost of between 50 and 55 euros per year (electricity rate at €0.20/kWh).
The special multilayer technology of the ProActiv filter limits air resistance, preventing high overconsumption compared to other traditional filters.
Is this ProActiv charcoal filter 460 m3 h compatible with 150 mm extractors having a lower airflow to optimize silence in a small space?
The Garden HighPro ProActiv charcoal filter Ø150 mm, designed for a nominal airflow of 460 m³/h, is fully compatible with a 150 mm extractor with a lower airflow. Using a reduced airflow extractor helps to optimize silence, as less airflow generates less noise and turbulence.
However, it is important to ensure that this airflow remains sufficient to provide effective ventilation for your space. The filter, lightweight and easy to install, does not pose any technical issues with a lower airflow. This configuration is ideal for a small space where silence is a priority, while still maintaining good air quality.
Is the filter fac-proa-150-460 compatible with a standard 150mm extraction for optimal installation in confined space?
The ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h (FAC-PROA-150-460) filter is perfectly compatible with a standard 150 mm extraction. Its connection diameter meets the standard, making it easy to integrate with ducting and an extractor of the same size. For optimal installation in a confined space, ensure that the extractor has a flow rate equal to or slightly lower than 460 m³/h to maintain filtration efficiency and the lifespan of the activated carbon.
In summary, this filter is an excellent choice for compact systems where air quality is essential.
What is the pressure loss level in Pa with this ProActiv 150mm filter at 460m3/h and its impact on the overall energy efficiency of the ventilation system?
The ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h carbon filter from Garden HighPro features multilayer wool mat technology that significantly reduces air pressure loss, allowing for better airflow compared to a standard filter.
Although no precise data in Pascals (Pa) is provided, this design lightens the load on the fan, which can improve the overall energy efficiency of the ventilation system. In other words, air resistance remains low, limiting the negative impact on efficiency.
For an accurate calculation of pressure loss and its energy influence, specific measurements would be needed, but the technical approach used here is clearly optimized to minimize losses.
What is the average noise level of this ProActiv charcoal filter of 460 m3h during its normal operation?
The ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h charcoal filter from Garden HighPro does not have precise data published on its average noise level. However, thanks to its optimized design that limits air resistance, it typically offers relatively quiet operation for this category. One can expect moderate noise, though not completely inaudible, which is typical for this type of equipment.
What is the total weight of the Proactiv filter 150mm 460 m3h and is it compatible with a standard extractor of the same diameter?
The ProActiv filter Ø150mm - 460 m³/h weighs 2.60 kg, making it easy to handle during installation. It is perfectly compatible with a standard extractor of 150 mm in diameter, ensuring simple and effective integration into your ventilation system. This filter is ideal for maintaining a clean and controlled environment in your indoor growing spaces.
What frequency do you recommend for replacing the ProActiv carbon filter in intensive use in a large greenhouse?
For intensive use in a large greenhouse with the ProActiv carbon filter Ø150mm - 460 m³/h, we recommend replacing it every 3 to 6 months. This frequency takes into account the significant load of particles and odors, which can saturate the activated carbon more quickly. It is also important to regularly check the condition of the filter and clean the pre-filter to maintain its effectiveness.
What is the best practice for integrating this Proactiv 460m3h charcoal filter into a dual-flow ventilation system to optimize the differentiated management of growth and flowering in an indoor cultivation?
To optimize the differentiated management of growth and flowering with the ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h charcoal filter in a dual-flow ventilation system, it is essential to install it on the extraction line that evacuates stale air. This allows for effective odor filtration, especially during flowering, without disturbing the incoming fresh air.
For optimal performance, adjust the fan speed according to the growth phase using a speed controller: a more moderate airflow during growth to save energy, and enhanced extraction during flowering to better control odors and heat. The low resistance of the ProActiv filter limits pressure loss, improving the energy efficiency of the entire system.
Finally, don't forget to ensure regular maintenance of the filter to maintain its absorption capacity and prolong its lifespan, thereby guaranteeing optimal air quality throughout the cultivation.
What is the compatibility of this ProActiv 150mm filter with different types of extractors and fans for optimal installation in a mixed cultivation containing several varieties in the same room?
The Garden HighPro ProActiv Ø150 mm - 460 m³/h carbon filter is perfectly compatible with extractors and fans that have a standard outlet of 150 mm, which corresponds to the majority of ventilation equipment for indoor cultivation.
For optimal installation in a mixed cultivation containing several varieties, it is important to choose an extractor with a flow rate equal to or slightly less than 460 m³/h. This ensures effective filtration without prematurely wearing out the activated carbon. A flow rate that is too high could compromise the lifespan of the filter and the quality of odor neutralization, which is essential in a room where several plants coexist.
Using a well-secured 150 mm ventilation duct with appropriate clamps and, if possible, the provided LightHanger suspensions, will help reduce vibrations and ensure a silent and stable system, beneficial for the plants' well-being.
Finally, regularly monitoring the state of the filter and the air renewal is key to maintaining optimal environmental quality, especially with varieties that have different odor profiles.
What is the noise level of the ProActiv 460 m³/h carbon filter operating in a micro space?
The exact noise level of the ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h carbon filter is not specifically stated. However, this model is designed for quiet operation, especially in micro spaces. Its multilayer technology reduces air resistance, thereby limiting the generated noise. Compared to the 690 m³/h model, which emits between 30 and 50 dB, it can be reasonably estimated that the 460 m³/h filter is just as discreet, if not more so, especially when paired with an extractor suited to this flow rate.
It remains perfectly suitable for indoor cultivation where silence is a priority.
What is the average pressure drop with this ProActiv 460m3/h filter and what fans do you recommend to maintain optimal airflow in a 150mm installation?
The ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h charcoal filter features multilayer technology that limits pressure loss, although no exact figure is provided. This innovative design ensures low air resistance, allowing for a flow close to 460 m³/h while reducing the load on the fan.
To maintain optimal airflow in a 150 mm installation with this filter, it is recommended to use a fan Ø150 mm capable of providing a nominal flow between 460 and 500 m³/h. A high-efficiency centrifugal or axial fan (such as an inline fan) is ideal for compensating for the slight pressure loss and ensuring good energy efficiency.
Choosing a fan with a flow slightly above the nominal flow of the filter will help optimize air renewal and preserve the durability of your installation.
What is the recommended time between each replacement of the ProActiv charcoal filter 460 m³/h to maintain optimal filtration in indoor cultivation?
For the charcoal filter ProActiv Ø150mm - 460 m³/h, it is recommended to replace it every 6 to 12 months to ensure optimal filtration in indoor cultivation. In cases of high humidity or intensive use, more frequent replacements, every 3 to 6 months, are advised.
It is important to monitor for persistent odors or a decrease in efficiency, which are good indicators to anticipate the change. Don't forget to regularly clean the pre-filter, as dust can prematurely reduce the lifespan of the activated charcoal, which, being coconut-based, is not regenerable.
