How to choose a GrowLED pack for indoor cultivation?
   

To choose the right GrowLED pack, I advise you to first define the size of your grow space. Then, consider the type of plants you want to grow and your experience level. Our Complete Packs are an excellent option for beginners, as they include everything needed to start with peace of mind. What is the difference between GrowLED packs and HPS lighting?
   

The main difference is the lighting technology. GrowLED packs use light-emitting diodes, which are much more energy-efficient, generate less heat, and offer a more precise and adjustable light spectrum for each growth phase. HPS (High-Pressure Sodium) lights are older, consume more energy, and often require better ventilation. In practice, I find that LEDs offer better light quality and a much longer lifespan.

What are GrowLED packs used for?
   

GrowLED packs are designed to offer you a turnkey solution for indoor cultivation. They combine horticultural LED lighting, the grow tent, ventilation, and sometimes even nutrition accessories, all tested and compatible. Their purpose is to simplify installation and ensure optimal conditions for your plants' growth, without you having to search for each component individually. It's a time-saver and an assurance of compatibility.

What GrowLED pack wattage should I choose for my grow area?
   

To choose the right wattage, you generally need to count between 300 and 600 watts per square meter for efficient LED lighting, depending on the plants and the type of LED. For example, for a 1m x 1m grow box, I would recommend a pack with a real wattage of approximately 300 to 400W. Our product descriptions often indicate the recommended grow areas for each pack, especially in our Horticultural LED Lighting + Grow Box Packs.

What is the ideal distance between GrowLEDs and plants?
   

The ideal distance depends heavily on the power of your LED lighting and the growth phase of your plants. In general, I recommend starting at about 40 to 60 cm from young seedlings and gradually reducing this distance to 20-40 cm during flowering. It is crucial to observe your plants: if the leaves yellow or curl, the lighting is too close; if they stretch (etiolate), it is too far. Each LED has its specificities, so always refer to the manufacturer's recommendations.

What mistakes should be avoided with GrowLED packs?
   

One of the most common mistakes I see is neglecting ventilation. Even though LEDs generate less heat than HPS, good air circulation is essential for plant health and CO2 renewal. Another mistake is not adjusting the lighting height or not respecting the light cycle. Finally, make sure you understand your plants' specific water and nutrient needs. What light spectrum for each growth phase with GrowLED?
   

With LEDs, the spectrum can be optimized for each phase. For vegetative growth, I favor a blue-rich spectrum, which promotes robust and compact development. For flowering, a spectrum with more red and far-red is ideal for stimulating flower and fruit production. Most of our LED lighting packs are equipped with adjustable or optimized spectra for these two phases, offering great flexibility to the user.
