Your questions about this product

  • Can I use this E27 horticultural LED bulb for plants that are not in growth phase, but in flowering phase?
Of course, the E27 horticultural LED bulb 'SpectraBULB X30 - 30W' is the ideal option for your flowering phase plants. Thanks to its balanced light spectrum, it is just as effective at illuminating a 40 cm x 40 cm area in flowering, and 50 cm x 50 cm in growth. So, don't hesitate to use it to accompany your plants during their flowering!
  • Does this SpectraBULB X30 bulb have a beneficial effect on the branching of bonsais during the winter growth period when combined with low natural light?
Yes, the SpectraBULB X30 bulb with its full spectrum is perfectly suited to stimulate the branching of bonsais during the winter growth period, especially when complemented with low natural light. It compensates for the lack of light and promotes denser and healthier growth thanks to its targeted light quality and adjustable lighting angle option to diffuse or concentrate the light according to your needs. A great way to keep your bonsais vigorous during the winter.
  • Can we consider a scrog on 40x40 cm with the SpectraBULB X30 and how to optimize its intensity for flowering under this 30W E27 lamp?

The SpectraBULB X30 is well-suited for a scrog on 40x40 cm, covering this area during the flowering phase. To optimize its intensity under this 30W E27 lamp, it is essential to keep the light about 20-30 cm from the plants to ensure effective lighting without the risk of burning.

Be sure to distribute the stems well across the screen for an even light distribution, and maintain an appropriate light cycle, between 18 and 24 hours depending on your plants. Also monitor the temperature (18-24°C) and ensure good ventilation with humidity at 40-60% to encourage flowering.

  • Multiple use: can the SpectraBULB X30 bulb be effective in combination with another lighting system to optimize growth and flowering in the same room?
Yes, the SpectraBULB X30 bulb is perfectly suited to be used in addition to another lighting system. It delivers a complete spectrum that promotes optimal photosynthesis and effectively supports plant growth and flowering on the same surface. Its adjustable lighting angle allows for precise light adjustment, which is a real advantage for balancing light in the room and meeting the specific needs of your plants. This bulb is ideal for compensating or enhancing a main lighting setup, especially over small areas, and can even stimulate branching for plants like bonsais in winter. In summary, it optimizes light distribution and enhances the overall performance of your horticultural setup.
  • What is the average lifespan of this SpectraBulb X30 horticultural LED bulb before significant lumen loss or product change is recommended?
Regarding the lifespan of the LED horticultural bulb SpectraBULB X30, there is no precise information about lumen loss or the exact duration before replacement. Generally, LEDs maintain high performance for 25,000 to 50,000 hours of use before losing about 30% of their light intensity. This threshold is often the recommended time to consider a change to maintain optimal efficiency for your crops.
  • Is the SpectraBULB X30 enough on its own for optimal flowering in a 40x40 area, or is it better to combine it with another light for better yield?

The SpectraBULB X30 is perfectly suited for optimal flowering in an area of 40 cm x 40 cm. Its balanced light spectrum effectively supports photosynthesis and the flowering of your plants in this space.

However, if you wish to increase light density or meet specific needs, it may be worthwhile to combine it with another light source to improve overall yield.

  • Does the SpectraBULB X30 30W heat significantly less than an equivalent wattage HPS bulb to limit ventilation needs in a small growing space?

The SpectraBULB X30 30W heats significantly less than an equivalent wattage HPS bulb. Although 30W is low for an HPS, this LED uses OSRAM OSLON SSL technology that provides very efficient lighting with significantly reduced heat output.

This makes the SpectraBULB particularly suitable for small growing spaces, as it limits ventilation needs by producing little heat while maintaining excellent light output. This allows you to gain thermal control without having to install a powerful extraction system.

  • SpectraBULB X30 30W covers 40x40 cm in bloom, possible to use multiple bulbs in series over a small area without overconsumption or electrical overload

The SpectraBULB X30 30W efficiently covers an area of about 40x40 cm during flowering. It is possible to use multiple bulbs in the same area to better illuminate, as long as the total consumption is well managed. Each bulb consumes 30W, so care must be taken not to exceed the maximum power supported by your electrical circuit to avoid any overload.

In summary, you can install multiple SpectraBULB X30 over a small area, but it is essential to control the overall electrical load to ensure the safety and efficiency of your setup.

  • Possible integration with voice assistant to adjust brightness and light cycles of SpectraBULB X30?

The SpectraBULB X30 - 30W E27 bulb operates in a simple on/off mode via a standard E27 socket, without built-in dimming control or light cycles. It does not offer native integration with voice assistants to adjust brightness or program cycles.

To manage its lighting remotely or automate schedules, you can connect the bulb to a smart plug compatible with your voice assistant. This solution allows you to turn the lamp on or off remotely, but does not allow dimming.

If you are looking for a horticultural LED lamp with dimming control, biorhythmic cycles, and built-in voice management, you will need to consider more advanced models designed for these functions.

  • What is the maximum operating temperature of the SpectraBULB X30 during an intensive growth session to avoid any overheating that could harm yield?

The SpectraBULB X30 is designed to emit very little heat, making it ideal for small growing spaces. The exact maximum operating temperature is not specified, but its efficient design significantly limits the risk of overheating during intensive growth sessions.

To avoid any risk, it is recommended not to exceed the recommended electrical load when using multiple bulbs simultaneously, to maintain a stable environment and avoid overheating that could harm yield.

  • How to manage the installation of multiple SpectraBULB X30 in series to cover a larger area without exceeding the optimal electrical consumption?

To cover a larger area with multiple SpectraBULB X30 - 30W bulbs, you first need to calculate the total area to be illuminated, knowing that one bulb covers approximately 40 x 40 cm. Then multiply the number of necessary bulbs without exceeding the electrical capacity of your installation.

It is better to connect the bulbs in parallel rather than in series, to ensure a stable voltage and avoid risks related to overload. Also, make sure to use switches and cables suitable for the total load to ensure the safety and performance of your installation.

This precise management will allow you to optimize the lighting of your plants while respecting the maximum electrical consumption. For easy control, you can also consider a timer suited for your needs.

  • What is the optimal height to install this SpectraBULB X30 over 40x40 in flowering to avoid burning and promote light penetration?

For the SpectraBULB X30 intended for a 40x40 cm area in flowering, it is ideal to position the bulb between 30 and 80 cm above the plants. This distance allows for optimal light penetration while avoiding the risk of burning.

In practice, starting at about 30 cm can promote good light intensity without damage, provided you monitor the temperature under the lamp and keep it below 28 °C. Adjust the height if you notice excessive heating.

  • What is the maximum operational temperature of Spectra Bulb X30 lamps in continuous operation to limit thermal stress on plants?
The SpectraBULB X30 30W lamp uses OSRAM OSLON SSL LED technology, which generates much less heat than an equivalent HPS lamp. It also integrates an ultra-silent fan to prevent overheating of the bulb. To limit thermal stress on your plants during continuous use, it is recommended to maintain an ambient temperature between 18 and 24°C, with good ventilation and an ideal humidity level of 40 to 60%. The lamp should also be positioned about 20-30 cm above the plants to ensure effective lighting while preventing any risk of burning or heat stress.
