Multifunction Climate Stations

A climate station brings together in one unit what several devices do separately: temperature, humidity, extractor speed and, on some models, the lighting cycle. One place to set things, simpler wiring, and setpoints that no longer contradict each other.

Why centralise control

When a thermostat and a humidistat each work on their own, they end up fighting: one speeds ventilation up to cool while the other slows it down to retain moisture. A single unit arbitrates between the two setpoints instead of letting them conflict.

Single or dual outputs

Some models offer two independent outputs, driving an extractor and an intake fan separately, or two extractors at different speeds. The stated current then applies per output: a 12+12 A model accepts 12 A on each.

What to check before buying

Add up the draw of everything you will connect, confirm every function you need is actually present, and check whether lighting is handled — not every station drives lamps.
