The dimmable LED panel Zeus 465 PRO 2.9 offers a remarkable flexibility for managing multiple varieties in a 12x12 m space thanks to its dimming system. You can precisely adjust the light intensity according to the specific needs of each variety and each growth stage (germination, growth, flowering), optimizing photosynthesis without stress. Its multi-bar design ensures a uniform light distribution across the entire surface, eliminating shadow areas and hotspots, promoting even growth. With high light output (1353 µmol/s) for low energy consumption, it meets the requirements of the most sensitive plants. Moreover, the modularity of the system allows for the installation of multiple units to create micro-environments perfectly suited to each variety, facilitating the management of several simultaneous growing cycles in a restricted space.

Question 7

What is the best dimming management strategy with the Lumatek digital panel to maximize yields under the Zeus 465 PRO 2.9 in a 1.20x1.20 m cultivation without compromising maximum photon power?

Accepted Answer

To maximize yields in a 1.20 x 1.20 m area with the Zeus 465 PRO 2.9 and its Lumatek digital panel, the best dimming management involves adjusting light intensity according to growth phases:Germination and propagation: dim between 25 and 50% to avoid seedling stress while ensuring sufficient light.Vegetation: gradually increase to 50-75% to support rapid and vigorous growth.Flowering: move to 100% to harness maximum photon power and optimize quality and yield. The Lumatek panel also allows simulating dawn and dusk, promoting a natural light cycle, and integrates thermal protection systems to safeguard the equipment. Remember to keep the LED bars clean to ensure consistent efficiency. This strategy fully leverages the 1353 µmol/s and the efficiency of up to 2.9 µmol/J of the system, thus ensuring optimal lighting without compromising maximum power or crop quality.
