The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is perfectly designed to accompany techniques such as SCROG or LST thanks to its optimized thermal management and full spectrum. Its effective heat dissipation limits thermal stress, while its large lighting surface ensures a homogeneous light distribution, ideal for a uniform SCROG mesh.
Its high and stable intensity, combined with a fine dimming function, allows for easy adaptation to the size and density of the canopy without constant adjustments. Thus, it supports these methods without imposing any particular light stress, while offering the necessary flexibility to fine-tune the lighting according to the specific needs of your plants.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is perfectly suited for indoor cultivation on a surface of 2 × 1.5 m. It effectively covers this area and presents optimal power to start with a PPF of 3125 µmol/s.
Regarding installation, it is designed to be simple to set up, even for a beginner, thanks to its modular design and clear instructions. As for compatibility, this model works well with the Lumatek Plus 2.0 controller (to be checked according to the specific version of the controller), enabling easy management of the lighting.
In summary, this system is an excellent starting point for indoor cultivation with reliable, high-performance, and scalable equipment.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is a powerful LED system designed for coverage of approximately 2.0 x 1.5 m. For a micro-cultivation of 1 m², it is fully suitable due to its maximum dimming which allows you to reduce light intensity and avoid any stress caused by too strong light.
This dimming ensures uniform lighting, a full spectrum suitable for all growth phases, while optimizing energy efficiency and LED lifespan. Therefore, it is an excellent choice for micro-cultivation if you adjust the power correctly.
However, be careful to properly set the height and power to avoid hot spots and fully benefit from this high-end lamp.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 features a 0-10V dimmer that allows precise adjustment of light intensity according to the growth and flowering phases, thus ensuring differentiated and economical energy management.
During the vegetative phase, it is recommended to start between 50 and 80% power, promoting healthy development of leaves and stems without overloading young plants. As you transition to flowering, gradually increase to 80-100% to stimulate flower production. During flowering, maintain maximum intensity or slightly reduced depending on foliage density, to maximize yield while avoiding thermal stress.
This system allows for electricity savings while maintaining optimal efficiency. Feel free to adjust according to the appearance of your plants and environmental conditions. The uniform diffusion of the ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 guarantees even light coverage over the entire surface, avoiding burnt areas or shadows.
Electrical consumption: The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 consumes about 1025 watts at full power, which corresponds to just over 1 kilowatt-hour per hour of use.
Noise level: This lighting system is extremely quiet since it does not include any built-in fans. Therefore, you should not perceive any noise during its operation, a major advantage for indoor installation.
Advice for restricted space usage: With limited thermal management, it is essential to ensure that the room does not exceed 25°C. A suitable ventilation system is recommended to ensure a stable temperature and maintain the performance and longevity of your lighting.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 consumes about 1025 watts (1.025 kW) in normal operation for a cultivation area of approximately 2 x 1.5 m. With a lighting period of 12 hours per day, this results in a consumption of 12.3 kWh.
In comparison, a traditional HPS 1000 W system consumes exactly 1000 watts (1 kW), which is 12 kWh for the same duration and area.
While the ZEUS consumes slightly more energy, its light output is much more efficient (3.1 µmol/J compared to about 1.7-2.0 µmol/J for the HPS). This means that every kWh spent produces more useful light, optimized for plant growth, which can result in an effective electricity saving of up to 40% in real yield.
However, as is often the case with this type of warranty, certain conditions and exclusions may apply, particularly in cases of normal wear and tear or misuse. For complete certainty, it is recommended to specifically consult the general warranty conditions provided with the product.
To optimize your Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 during the growth and flowering phases while managing heat, use a moderate light intensity of 40-60% during growth and increase it to 60-80% during flowering. The appropriate light duration is 18 hours for growth and 12 hours for flowering.
This system has excellent energy efficiency (3.1 µmol/J), limiting the heat produced, but ensure good airflow in your growing area to dissipate the heat. Use thermometers to monitor the temperature and adjust the power or ventilation if necessary.
The external control panel Control Panel Plus 2.0 will facilitate precise adjustments of the light intensity according to your plants' specific needs.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is indeed very powerful for an area of 1 m², as it is designed to cover around 3 m². However, thanks to its 0-10 V dimming system, it allows for precise adjustment of light intensity according to your needs, thus avoiding energy waste.
A 600 W model would naturally be better suited for this area, often more energy-efficient and sufficient for optimal growth. That said, the ZEUS 1000W Pro Evo 3.1 remains very efficient and flexible, perfect if you want to have a margin of adjustable power for different growth phases.
In summary, for 1 m², opting for a 600 W can be more energy-efficient, but the ZEUS 1000W offers excellent quality and fine-tuning of light that can compensate for its initially higher power.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 offers an optimized coverage of approximately 2 x 1.5 m, perfectly suited for a dense and homogeneous SCROG structure. With its 10 interchangeable LED bars and rectangular design, it ensures uniform light distribution over this surface, essential for a well-managed canopy.
With a photosynthetic flux of 3125 µmol/s and excellent energy efficiency, it provides powerful and even lighting, ideal for supporting growth and flowering in an indoor space. The advanced thermal management and fine dimming help avoid stress on plants, even in high plant density.
In summary, this complete system is well sized for an area of 2m x 1.5m in SCROG with 10 magnetic bars, offering balanced and efficient lighting for successful cultivation.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is a complete, powerful LED lighting system designed for optimal indoor coverage, primarily aimed at experienced or professional users. There is no specific "beginner's evolving kit" version for this model.
Regarding the addition of LEDs or additional modules, the compact and integrated design of the fixture does not allow for easy modularity or user-friendly addition of components.
For evolving cultivation, you may consider more modular or evolving solutions available in our horticultural LED range, which allow for greater flexibility in adding modules over time.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is an exceptional LED lighting system for indoor cultivation, offering powerful and even light. However, it lacks any functionality to control or stabilize the pH in a hydroponic system.
Maintaining a stable pH depends on the chemical management of the nutrient solution and requires an autocorrection system or a dedicated pH regulator. The ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 focuses solely on light optimization and does not replace these essential tools.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 is perfectly suited for a micro-culture of 1x1 m thanks to its dimming system, which allows for power reduction between 25% and 50%, thus avoiding overconsumption and overheating. Its design with advanced thermal management and an IP65 rating ensures good heat dissipation even in a confined space.
To optimize its use, it is advisable to position the lamp at an appropriate height, adjust the power via the dimmer, and ensure adequate ventilation in the tent.
This luminaire remains a reliable and efficient choice, capable of providing powerful lighting without energy waste for compact indoor cultivation.
The Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1 consumes about 1025 W in operation, which is approximately 18.45 kWh per day with 18 hours of lighting. Over a year, this represents a consumption of about 6,735 kWh, with an estimated electricity cost of €1,347 (at an average rate of €0.20/kWh).
In comparison, a standard 1000 W HPS system with ballast consumes around 1150 W, or 20.7 kWh per day, leading to about 7,555 kWh per year, for an annual cost of about €1,511.
The difference translates into an average annual savings of about €160 (or 10 to 11%) in favor of the Lumatek ZEUS 1000W PRO EVO 3.1. These savings arise from the better energy efficiency of the LED system and its slightly reduced consumption. Furthermore, the heat emitted by the Lumatek ZEUS is lower, which improves comfort and can reduce expenses related to ventilation or air conditioning.
This system ensures optimal and durable lighting, maximizing the efficiency of your indoor crops while minimizing the risks of degradation or power loss related to excessive heat.
