  • UVA-UVB LED: These LEDs are specially designed to boost your yield, the level of active ingredients and terpenes in your plants. UVA-UVB LEDs directly influence the quality and quantity of resin produced during flowering. We use the latest SEOUL VIOSYS UV LED chip technologies to ensure optimal results.

  • INFRA-RED LED: Infrared LEDs modify the morphology of your plants, increase internode spacing and promote yield. In addition, they activate the Emerson effect, a key process for photosynthesis. Adding infrared LEDs is essential for abundant flowering and quality resin.

Effects of UVA-UVB LEDs

When the right amount of UV is present, it results in a range of benefits, including increased oils, resin, THC and CBD levels. Additionally, UV accelerates the seed germination process, increases root mass, promotes flowering, causes more branching and less stretching, improves taste and odor, creates more robust plants, increases resistance to insects, bacteria and fungi, and strengthen plants for better tolerance to high intensity light. In addition, they reduce shock time and speed up the production and yield process.

However, it is essential to correctly dose UV, as excessive exposure can reduce yield, slow down photosynthesis and cause plant damage.

Natural Plant Defense Mechanism

Hemp plants develop a natural defense mechanism against ultraviolet rays by forming trichomes rich in alkaloids and flavonoids. These molecules act as photoprotectants to protect your plants.

Why Add UV Separately

Despite using the latest SEOUL VIOSYS UV LED chip technologies, the lifespan of a UV LED chip remains lower compared to red and white LED chips. To preserve the lifespan of the entire luminaire, we have chosen to add UV rays separately to our luminaires. This allows you to replace future items at a lower cost and accept future technologies without limits.

Effects of INFRA-RED LEDs

When the right amount of infrared is present, it triggers flowering faster on long-day plants, elongates plants, increases terpenes, provides heat to plants, and activates the Emerson effect. However, an excessive amount of infrared can cause elongation that is detrimental to yield, the risk of plant burns, and excessive heat input to the crop.

Applications

The BOOST UVA-UVB-IR LED bar is ideal for managing plant morphology. It is equipped with infrared LEDs which, when used in growth, allow the space between the internodes to be increased. You can use it 18 hours a day from the growth phase for genetics with tight internodes and little elongation, and 12 hours a day in the last 3 to 4 weeks of flowering. A 30W and 80cm BOOST UVA-UVB-IR bar is suitable for a cultivation surface of 100cm x 100cm.

Compatibility: The BOOST UVA-UVB-IR LED bar is compatible with the BLACK SERIES 400 series using the mounting clip (CLIP BLACK SERIES 400).
