The BOOST UVA-UVB-IR LED bar is the latest high-tech jewel developed by our research and development center in Switzerland. This 3 in 1 LED bar is made up of three types of LEDs specially designed to improve the growth and flowering of your indoor cannabis plants.

Composition of the LED Bar UVA / UVB / Infrared Bar for Black Serie 320W FOG - 60cm 15W
UVA-UVB LED: These LEDs are specially designed to boost your yield, the level of active ingredients and terpenes in your plants. UVA-UVB LEDs directly influence the quality and quantity of resin produced during flowering. We use the latest SEOUL VIOSYS UV LED chip technologies to ensure optimal results.
INFRA-RED LED: Infrared LEDs modify the morphology of your plants, increase internode spacing and promote yield. In addition, they activate the Emerson effect, a key process for photosynthesis. Adding infrared LEDs is essential for abundant flowering and quality resin.
Effects of UVA-UVB LEDs
When the right amount of UV is present, it results in a range of benefits, including increased oils, resin, THC and CBD levels. Additionally, UV accelerates the seed germination process, increases root mass, promotes flowering, causes more branching and less stretching, improves taste and odor, creates more robust plants, increases resistance to insects, bacteria and fungi, and strengthen plants for better tolerance to high intensity light. In addition, they reduce shock time and speed up the production and yield process.
However, it is essential to correctly dose UV, as excessive exposure can reduce yield, slow down photosynthesis and cause plant damage.
Natural Plant Defense Mechanism
Hemp plants develop a natural defense mechanism against ultraviolet rays by forming trichomes rich in alkaloids and flavonoids. These molecules act as photoprotectants to protect your plants.
Why Add UV Separately
Despite using the latest SEOUL VIOSYS UV LED chip technologies, the lifespan of a UV LED chip remains lower compared to red and white LED chips. To preserve the lifespan of the entire luminaire, we have chosen to add UV rays separately to our luminaires. This allows you to replace future items at a lower cost and accept future technologies without limits.
Effects of INFRA-RED LEDs
When the right amount of infrared is present, it triggers flowering faster on long-day plants, elongates plants, increases terpenes, provides heat to plants, and activates the Emerson effect. However, an excessive amount of infrared can cause elongation that is detrimental to yield, the risk of plant burns, and excessive heat input to the crop.
Applications
The BOOST UVA-UVB-IR LED bar is ideal for managing plant morphology. It is equipped with infrared LEDs which, when used in growth, allow the space between the internodes to be increased. Product questions
Your questions about this product
- Precise dosing measurement for UVA/UVB under 320W Black Series LED grow light? I am looking to optimize the addition of the 15W UVA-UVB-IR bar in my Black Series 320W 60cm setup. What daily exposure time do you recommend during growth vs flowering to maximize resin without negatively affecting photosynthesis and yield, while avoiding risks of elongation or light shock to the plants?
For adding the UVA/UVB/IR 15W bar to your Black Series 320W 60cm setup, here are optimal usage guidelines:
- During growth: limit to 1-2 hours per day at the end of the light cycle to avoid light shock and promote healthy morphology.
- During flowering: gradually increase to 3-4 hours per day, also at the end of the light cycle, to stimulate resin production without harming yield.
The key is to start slowly to allow plants to adapt, monitor their development (avoid excessive elongation), and never exceed 4 hours per day to prevent UVB-related stress.
This modulation maximizes quality without disturbing the photosynthesis of your Black Series main spectrum. Position the bar about 60 cm away for even distribution.
- Can several BOOST UVA-UVB-IR 15W bars be combined on a surface of 80x80 cm without the risk of overheating or light stress to optimize flowering and resin yield? It is generally recommended to install only one BOOST UVA-UVB-IR 15W bar on a surface of 80x80 cm. These bars are designed to effectively cover this area while limiting overheating due to their advanced thermal management. Adding multiple bars on the same surface could increase light stress for the plants, which is not ideal for optimizing flowering and resin yield. Our passionate advice: start with one bar and observe your plants' reactions. You can adjust the lighting if necessary, always ensuring to avoid any light stress.
- Compatibility LED bar UVA UVB IR 60cm 15W with micro space 60x60 for indoor cannabis cultivation? The 60 cm 15W UVA/UVB/Infrared LED bar from the Black Series 320W FOG is perfectly suited for a micro cultivation space of 60x60 cm. Its size closely matches this volume, while its moderate power prevents overheating and manages electrical consumption well. The spectrum combining UVA, UVB, and infrared promotes quality plant development, especially for resin production and floral density. It is a wise choice for a demanding and optimized indoor cultivation in this type of space.
- What optimal UVA-UVB power do you recommend for a significant increase in terpenes without the risk of stress on a cultivation area of 80x80cm with this 15W 60cm bar?
For an area of 80x80 cm, the UVA/UVB/Infrared Black Series 320W FOG 60 cm 15W bar is perfectly suited in power to significantly stimulate the production of terpenes. We recommend using the total power of 15W in UVA/UVB, with a preference for the UVA spectrum that promotes growth without stress.
To avoid any risk of stress, it is essential to limit UV exposure to a moderate duration: ideally 1 to 3 hours per day, only during the last weeks of flowering. This method allows for an increase in terpenes of up to +50% without damaging the plants.
In summary, the key is to combine the appropriate power of 15W with precise timing management of the lighting, promoting a beneficial and controlled effect of UVA and UVB on your cultivation.
- What is the optimal power and recommended daily usage duration for this UVA-UVB-IR 15W bar over 80x80cm to avoid the risks of light stress while maximizing terpene and resin production?
For your UVA/UVB/Infrared Black Serie 320W FOG 15W bar over an area of 80x80 cm, the optimal power is 15W, perfectly calibrated to stimulate terpene and resin production without inducing excessive stress.
Regarding the usage duration, it is recommended to use it for 1 to 3 hours per day, never exceeding 4 hours, exclusively during the last weeks of flowering. This moderate exposure maximizes production without harming the plants. The bar should be positioned about 60 cm from the canopy for even light distribution.
Prioritize exposure to the UVA spectrum, which promotes growth while limiting UVB-related stress. Start exposure gradually while monitoring the state of the plants to avoid stretching or excessive stress.
Finally, remember that UV rays can be harmful to eyes and skin, so it is important to take necessary precautions during use.
- How do you dose the ideal exposure duration to UVA-UVB-IR LEDs to optimize yield without risking plant stress or slowing down photosynthesis?
For the UVA / UVB / Infrared Bar for Black Series 320W FOG - 60cm 15W, the ideal exposure duration depends on the plant stage:
- Growth phase: prefer 2 to 4 hours per day of UV-A, while avoiding or limiting UV-B, to promote health without stress.
- Flowering phase: increase to 4-6 hours of UV-A and gradually introduce UV-B, starting with 15 minutes per day and increasing up to 2-3 hours max, to enhance resin production without burning tissues.
Maintain a distance of about 60 to 75 cm between the LED bar and the plants to avoid light stress. Infrared, on the other hand, improves morphology and maximizes photosynthetic efficiency without directly impacting energy production.
Always monitor the plants' reactions to adjust these parameters; it’s the key to harmonious and productive cultivation.
- Compatibility of UVA-UVB-IR 15W 60cm bar with other FOG series than Black Series 320?The UVA/UVB/Infrared 15W 60cm LED bar from the Black Series 320 is specifically designed for this range. No official compatibility is indicated with other FOG series such as Black Series 400, 600, or Air Grow PRO. Each series generally uses a specific mounting system, and for the 320, a particular clip is necessary (not included). For another series, it is better to refer to its dedicated model to ensure optimal mounting and functioning.
- Compatible with smart home assistant to automatically dose UVA, UVB and infrared according to culture stage?
The UVA/UVB/Infrared bar for Black Series 320W FOG - 60cm 15W does not have native compatibility with a smart home assistant to automatically dose UVA, UVB and infrared spectra according to growth stages.
The intensity adjustment is done manually via an integrated dimmer. For hourly automation or remote control, an external timer or a socket connected to voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home must be used, but this does not allow for fine and automated management of light spectra based on the growth phase.
In summary, intelligent and automatic control of light spectra on this product is not integrated, but simple control via manual dimmer and basic automation through third-party devices remains possible.
- How to optimize the use of the LED BOOST UVA-UVB-IR bar during the growth phase versus flowering to maximize yield and quality without risking damage to the plants?
To make the best use of the LED BOOST UVA-UVB-IR 320W FOG bar during the growth phase, prefer a cycle of 16-18 hours per day with a distance of about 30 cm between the bar and the plants. UVA-UVB will strengthen the roots, stimulate branching, and limit stretching, while infrared will enhance photosynthesis and plant architecture. Stay attentive to signs of stress to adjust intensity or duration.
During the flowering phase, reduce light to 12 hours per day while maintaining the same distance to avoid burns. UV will increase the production of resin, terpenes, and cannabinoids, while infrared will promote optimal internode spacing, improving air circulation and yield. Pair the bar with full spectrum lighting for a complete spectrum and closely monitor your plants to adjust UV and IR exposure according to their tolerance.
This precise and gradual approach maximizes quality and yield without the risk of damage.
