The Lumatek Zeus range
Appeared at the end of 2019, the ZEUS range from the Lumatek brand is dedicated to growers in large areas. These systems are in the form of horticultural bars LEDs which allow to illuminate a cultivation surface with a maximum of homogeneity.
There are two products in the range. The Zeus 600W and the Zeus 600W PRO.
Is the consumption the same between the two ZEUS 600W?
In this range of LED horticultural lighting there are two ZEUS references for the moment. The power between the two systems are the same. The consumption of your grow room will therefore be identical if you select one of the two systems. For a consumption of 600Watts, you will have to consider an electricity bill of around 30 € / month. This figure is approximate and may vary depending on the stage of cultivation (growth / flowering) and your lighting periods during off-peak or peak hours.

What is the difference between the ZEUS 600W and the ZEUS 600W PRO?
We have just seen it together, the two systems are identical in terms of consumption. The difference will be made on horticultural performance. In LED plant lighting, we are talking about μmol. This unit of measurement allows us to know the performance of our lamp on plants. It can differ from one light to another, depending on the power supply, or the LEDs that make up the product. This is where the light output comes from. The yield this calculation quite simply in relation to consumption. The ZEUS 600W PRO has better light output than the ZEUS 600W.

The calculation is therefore quite simple. We are going to divide the horticultural performance by the number of µmol / s produced by this panel.
ZEUS 600W: 1380/600 = 2.3 µmol / J
ZEUS 600W PRO: 1620/600 = 2.7 µmol / J
And the level of characteristics of these two LED lamps?
These two lights are equipped with the same parameters. They use horticultural LEDs with a lighting angle of 120 °. This will allow you to bring the lamp closer to your plants. Lumatek has chosen LEDs from the LUMILED and OSRAM brands to emit an efficient horticultural spectrum in growth and flowering.
The maximum lighting area for these two ZEUS is 150cm x 150cm. The product measures him approximately 110cm x 110cm so it should not be placed in a culture chamber smaller than 120cm x 120cm.
They are water resistant with the IP 65 standard, so you can grow in a humid environment without risk to you or your lamp.
These products are delivered with the 6 Lumatek horticultural bars, the power supply, a suspension kit and the user manual.
It is also possible to equip your lamp with the lumatek digital panel so that you can vary the intensity of the LEDs.
What is the spectrum on the Lumatek Zeus?
The different LEDs of the OSRAM and LUMILED brand produce a full spectrum which will promote leaf development during the growth period and the production of flowers / fruits during flowering.
LUMILED LEDs produce a broad spectrum, called FULL SPECTRUM, and OSRAM LEDs will bring a red tint to the lighting to promote flowering.
