TrolMaster Hydro-X Pro HCS-2 —… 2 989,00 €The TrolMaster Hydro-X Pro HCS-2 is a control centre for a grow room equipped with compatible devices. Its 10.1-inch touchscreen brings the control functions together, while the supplied MBS-PRO sensor measures temperature, humidity, CO₂ and day/night light. This is a TrolMaster controller: its place alongside ThinkGrow lighting reflects system compatibility, not a shared manufacturer name. When choosing the additional modules, start with the actual equipment in your room and the functions you want each device to perform.
To decide whether this control centre fits the project, list the functions you want to manage: lighting, ventilation, heating or humidity equipment. Then match each device to the appropriate interface. The HCS-2 can control ThinkGrow lights through suitable connections, but owning the controller does not make every electrical appliance compatible. Additional modules are sold separately. The maximum of 50 sensors and 50 modules describes expansion capacity, not a compulsory starting configuration.
Select accessories from the actual requirements of the room. Also distinguish day/night light detection from measurement of radiation useful to plants. The supplied MBS-PRO provides the former; it is not a replacement for a PAR sensor. If you need PPFD readings, use an instrument intended for that purpose instead of interpreting day/night detection as an equivalent measurement. Finally, an HCS-2 is not needed for basic raising and lowering of an LLT-1 equipped with an LRC-1 remote. That limited requirement can be met without selecting a complete climate-control centre, leaving the larger controller for a project that actually uses its room-management role.
