GrowLED is an official SANlight reseller: full range, accessories, support and pro solutions

It's official: GrowLED is now an official SANlight reseller. In practical terms, that means the Austrian manufacturer's entire lineup, the EVO fixtures, the complete kits, the FLEX II bars, the Stixx 50 and every original accessory, is now in stock with us, backed by after-sales support handled in France by our own team. And for greenhouses and professional facilities, we also distribute the EVO COMPACT range, with a dedicated pro team ready to look at your project. In this article I'll walk you through all of it: what this official reseller status actually changes, what SANlight is really worth day to day, and which model to pick for your space.

1Official SANlight reseller: what it changes for you

Behind the words official reseller, the first thing you get is a supply chain that runs straight from the manufacturer, with no middlemen and no stock of dubious origin. Every SANlight fixture sold on GrowLED comes through the manufacturer's official channel: you know for certain you're buying a genuine product, covered by the 3-year manufacturer warranty. On a purchase you'll keep for five or ten years, that traceability is no small detail.

The second change is the depth of the range, and as a grower it's the one that makes me happiest. We're not listing three showcase lamps: the SANlight page of the shop brings together the EVO fixtures in every length, the complete kits by grow area, the modular FLEX II range with its drivers and splitters, the Stixx 50, and all the original small parts: dimmers, cables, hanging kits, home-automation adapters. When you're missing a part, we have it, sold individually.

The third change is after-sales service, because an official reseller takes responsibility for what it sells. Your support contact is us, in France, in your language: diagnosis, warranty handling, original spare parts. I'll come back to this in detail further down; to my mind it's the argument that carries the most weight on equipment in this price bracket.

2SANlight, the Austrian LED brand everyone agrees on

SANlight builds its fixtures in Austria, and you can feel it the moment you unbox one: solid aluminium profiles, lockable Wieland connectors, moulded secondary optics that spread the light instead of concentrating it into one hot spot. The brand earned its reputation for reliability among European growers well before horticultural LED lighting became the norm, and it's precisely that consistency that made us want this partnership.

The numbers that matter are measured at module level, not printed on the box. The EVO fixtures are rated at over 3 µmol/J at the LED module: in other words, every watt you draw is converted into photons your plants can actually use for photosynthesis, with very little loss. Cooling is entirely passive, with no fan at all: no moving parts, no noise, virtually no risk of mechanical failure. The IP65 rating shrugs off the humidity of a grow room, and LM90 lumen maintenance is rated beyond 90,000 hours: at 12 hours of light per day, your diodes still deliver 90% of their output after more than twenty years.

The 3-year manufacturer warranty covers the EVO fixtures as well as the kits and the Stixx 50, and it rests on a repairable design: drivers, dimmers, cables and connectors are standardised parts that we keep in stock. A SANlight lamp isn't something you throw away, it's something you repair, and that's a philosophy we've always stood behind at GrowLED.

3The EVO range: the heart of the lineup, from 60x60 to 150x150

The EVO range is the backbone of the SANlight catalogue, and its logic is crystal clear once you've got it. The first number tells you the power class: EVO 3 (200 W), EVO 4 (265 W), EVO 5 (340 W), EVO 6 (400 W). The second number is the length of the bar in centimetres: 60, 80, 100, 120 or 150. So you pick the power for your grow area, then the length for the depth of your tent, so the light covers the canopy from edge to edge.

ModelPowerBest for
EVO 3-60, 3-80, 3-100200 WTents 60 to 80 cm wide, compact grows
EVO 4-80, 4-100, 4-120265 WTents 80 to 100 cm, the most versatile format
EVO 5-100, 5-120, 5-150340 WTents 100 to 120 cm, including the classic 120x120
EVO 6-120, 6-150400 WLarge areas and maximum output requirements (PPF 1090 µmol/s on the EVO 6-150)

Every EVO is dimmable, either with the stepped Dimmer M or with the Dimmer Bluetooth, which adjusts intensity continuously from your phone. That's what lets you use the same lamp from cuttings all the way to flowering: you start at reduced intensity over young plants, ramp up gradually, and push to full power once the canopy has filled in. You'll find every model in the Series EVO category.

🌱 Joseph's tip

On the EVO fixtures, the dimmer and the power cable are sold separately, and that's the detail that catches everyone out at checkout. SANlight deliberately splits these items so you can choose the control method (stepped or Bluetooth) and the cable length that suit your setup. Make it a reflex to add the dimmer and the power cable to the same basket as your lamp: nothing is more frustrating than a lamp on your doorstep that you can't plug in yet.

4The EVO Set kits: a complete setup in a single box

If you're starting from scratch, the EVO Set kits are the simplest route, because they settle the sizing question for you. Each set is calibrated for a specific grow area and contains everything you need: the EVO fixture or fixtures, the hanging system and the complete cabling. You unbox, you hang, you plug in.

KitPowerTarget area
EVO Set 80x80265 W80x80 cm tent
EVO Set 100x100400 W100x100 cm tent
EVO 4 Set 120x120530 W (2 x 265 W)120x120 cm tent
EVO Set 150x150680 W150x150 cm tent or room

The twin fixtures in the 120x120 set answer the classic flaw of large tents: a single lamp in the centre shines intensely in the middle and weakly in the corners. Two EVO bars spread across the area, with their secondary optics, deliver even light right to the edges, right where the flowers that too many growers end up sacrificing actually ripen. All the kits are gathered in the Pack Sanlight category.

5FLEX II and Stixx 50: propagation, cabinets and small spaces

The FLEX II range is the Swiss army knife of supplemental lighting, and I recommend it whenever a space doesn't fit the usual boxes. These are slim, flexible LED bars of 10 to 25 W, around 54 cm long, built in Austria like the rest of the range, all powered by a shared external driver. A propagation shelf, a mother-plant cabinet, a corner of a greenhouse that needs topping up: you assemble as many bars as you need, connect them to the right driver (from 25 to 320 W) using the 2-way or 4-way Y splitters, the extensions and the T cables, and the setup moulds itself to your furniture instead of the other way round. The whole range lives in the Series FLEX category.

The Stixx 50 plays in a different register: it's the self-contained compact lamp, the one I recommend for a single small space or a corner of demanding houseplants. It delivers 150 µmol/s for 54 W drawn, adjusts across 6 intensity levels with no external accessory, and its IP68 rating keeps it safe from water splashes, a step above the rest of the range. A Stixx 50 over a 40x40 means propagation and vegetative growth done cleanly, with zero installation.

🌱 Joseph's tip

For FLEX II, size the driver before you count the bars, and go one size above your immediate need. A 150 W driver feeding four 25 W bars works comfortably, 100 W drawn out of 150 available, and leaves you room to add a bar the day the shelf grows. It's the one place in the range where cutting it fine costs you: replacing an undersized driver is more expensive than the margin you'd have built in at the start.

6Every original accessory, available individually

A lighting range is only as good as the availability of its parts, and it's a point we refused to compromise on in this partnership. As an official reseller, we list the complete SANlight ecosystem, in original parts, sold individually:

  • Control: the stepped Dimmer M and the Dimmer Bluetooth for continuous adjustment from your phone.
  • Power and cabling: EVO and Q Series power cables, straight and angled extensions, the H distribution block to power several fixtures cleanly, and end caps.
  • Mounting: the EVO hanging kit with its carabiners, to hang the bar at the right height in thirty seconds.
  • Automation: the TrolMaster and GrowControl adapters to plug your EVO fixtures into a grow room controller, and the inrush current protector for when several fixtures start up on the same line.
  • The FLEX II ecosystem: drivers from 25 to 320 W, Y splitters, T cables, extensions and adapters, to build a modular setup exactly to your measurements.

That parts availability changes the real lifespan of your setup, because a damaged cable or a temperamental dimmer never again writes off the whole lamp. That's the concrete advantage of a brand with standardised connectors, distributed by a reseller who keeps the parts in stock instead of pointing you back to the manufacturer.

7SANlight after-sales support, handled by GrowLED in France

Buying from an official reseller means knowing who picks up when something goes wrong, and with us the answer fits in one sentence: your SANlight support is GrowLED. A fixture that won't switch on, a dimmer that won't respond, a doubt about a connection: you contact us and we run the diagnosis with you. SANlight's connector system usually lets us identify the faulty part remotely, cable, driver, dimmer or module, and replace it without taking your whole setup out of action.

The 3-year manufacturer warranty is handled directly by our team, so you're not left to fend for yourself with a foreign-language form or a shipment abroad at your own expense. We manage the exchange with SANlight, and our stock of original accessories and spare parts lets us sort out the most common cases fast. On equipment designed to last more than ten years, that kind of close follow-up is the whole difference between a warranty on paper and a warranty that actually works.

And even before anything breaks, there's the advice, because good after-sales service starts with the right sale. An EVO that's too powerful for a small, poorly ventilated tent is guaranteed light stress; an undersized lamp is a disappointing harvest. Our team grows, tests these lamps and points you to the model that fits your actual space, not the most expensive one on the shelf. Not sure? Write to us before you order, that's also what a direct partnership with the brand is for.

8Professionals: the EVO COMPACT range and a dedicated team

GrowLED also equips professional facilities with SANlight lighting, production greenhouses, cultivation rooms, laboratories and research spaces. For these projects we distribute the EVO COMPACT-Series, developed by SANlight specifically for professional greenhouse operation: five fixtures from 310 W to 935 W (up to 2150 µmol/s on the EVO 5C), with a separate external driver, accepting industrial input voltages of 120-277 V or 200-480 V depending on the model, and compatible with three-phase installations. Same DNA as the rest of the range: passive cooling, IP65, 3-year manufacturer warranty.

A professional project isn't bought like a tent lamp, which is why we have a team dedicated to professionals. They work through your project with you: floor area and height, PPFD targets, electrical constraints, choice of fixtures and drivers, full costing. Whether you're building your first room or converting an entire greenhouse to LED, you get a single point of contact who knows the hardware and sees your project through from the initial study to commissioning.

Getting in touch is direct and commitment-free: call us on +33 (0)1 88 33 45 52 or write to us via the contact form, describing your space and your goal. We'll come back to you with a reasoned, fully costed proposal.

Joseph's takeGrowLED expert grower

I've watched a lot of horticultural LED brands come and go in fifteen years, and very few are still running flawlessly in the grow rooms of clients who have been pushing them hard for years. SANlight belongs to that small circle, and that's exactly why this official partnership matters: we're not selling you a lamp, we're standing behind a range we know inside out, with the parts, the warranty and the advice that go with it. If you take just one thing from this article, make it this: choose your EVO for your actual grow area, add the dimmer and the cable to the same basket, and for everything else, before or after the purchase, our team is here. That's what an official reseller doing its job looks like.
