ThinkGrow TLD-2 — Model One driver 90 W

The ThinkGrow TLD-2 completes a compatible Model One bar with its dedicated power supply. The TLD-2 serves the two-channel Model One family and is compatible with DR-1, FR-1 and UV-1. TLB-1 and TLB-2 bars belong to the four-channel family and require a TLD-4. These two 90 W drivers therefore serve different pairings.

Compatibility with the LED bar is the deciding factor, not just the 90 W rating. The TLD-2 is intended for DR-1 / FR-1 / UV-1 bars. It handles 2 spectrum channels but does not replace a controller used to schedule them. Within Model One, TLD-2 and TLD-4 drivers serve different bar families. Before a replacement or first installation, match the driver model to the bar you want to power. A similar appearance or equal wattage is not enough to confirm that pairing.

Allow one driver per bar

One TLD-2 powers one 90 W bar. A project with three compatible bars therefore requires three drivers, plus mains wiring suited to the installation. The driver is sold without an LED bar and the mains lead is separate. External control additionally requires compatible TrolMaster control equipment and its connection. Keeping these roles clear avoids mistaking the driver for a complete light or a power unit for an entire row. Plan mounting and cable access for each bar-and-driver assembly.
