Does the Combiconnect duct 315mm 10m support a vertical installation without the risk of creasing that could reduce airflow?
The Combiconnect duct 315 mm – 10 m is designed to be both flexible and robust thanks to its laminated aluminum and reinforced PVC structure with a steel spiral. Therefore, it supports a vertical installation without notable risk of creasing that could reduce airflow, provided that tight angles and cavities are avoided during installation.
Its resistance to twisting and deformation ensures good stability, but careful installation remains essential for preserving optimal airflow.
What is the average pressure loss with Combiconnect 315 mm duct over 10 m in horticultural air extraction configuration?
The Combiconnect 315 mm duct over 10 meters, thanks to its double wall made of aluminum and reinforced polyester, offers excellent sealing and limits pressure losses. In the horticultural air extraction configuration, the average pressure drop is generally between 50 and 150 Pa depending on the airflow used. This estimation remains moderate due to the quality of the product, well suited for significant flows common in indoor horticulture. For an accurate calculation, a manometer is the ideal tool based on your specific installation.
What is the average pressure loss over 10m with the Combiconnect 315mm duct and the impact on the ISO-Max 3000 m3h fan efficiency?
The average pressure loss over 10 meters with the Combiconnect 315 mm duct, for a flow rate of 3000 m³/h, is estimated to be between 4 and 7 Pa. This value remains very low due to the spiral design covered with aluminum and polyester, which limits turbulence.
In practice, this pressure loss is negligible for an ISO-Max 3000 m³/h fan, whose performance remains almost intact even with much higher losses. The Combiconnect 315 mm duct is therefore perfectly suited for high-capacity installations, without any significant impact on fan efficiency.
Can I easily shorten this Combiconnect sheath 315 mm without losing the waterproofness and robustness of the system?
The Combiconnect sheath 315 mm – 10 m can be shortened, but to maintain the waterproofness and robustness of the system, it is essential to use a sharp cutting tool to obtain a clean and straight cut. Then, it is advisable to add suitable connectors or specific seals to ensure perfect waterproofness after the modification.
This proven method on similar diameters ensures that your ventilation system remains efficient and reliable despite the shortening.
Compatible with standard 315 mm extractors, does the combiconnect duct support tight bend constraints without loss of flow?
The Combiconnect 315 mm – 10 m duct is perfectly compatible with standard 315 mm extractors due to its precisely adapted diameter.
Its multi-layer construction, reinforced by a steel frame, gives it high flexibility and high bending capability, allowing it to be easily installed even in spaces with tight bends. This robustness limits crushing and pinching, thus avoiding any significant loss of air flow.
In summary, it withstands tight bend constraints without compromising ventilation performance.
Compatibility with 315mm extractors: what is the average pressure loss over 10m of Combiconnect duct during extraction at maximum flow (3000m3/h)?
The Combiconnect 315 mm duct, with a real internal diameter of about 254 mm, is well-suited for a 315 mm extractor flowing up to 3,000 m³/h. Over 10 m, the average pressure loss is low, at around 250 Pa, which remains perfectly compatible with the extractor’s performance.
