Frequently asked questions
Your questions
How does this Mylar improve energy efficiency in my grow room?
Thanks to its exceptional reflectivity rate (95-97%), Mylar reflects almost all light and heat back to your plants, limiting energy loss, reducing heating needs by up to 20%, and optimizing the electrical consumption of your setup. Additionally, its thermal insulating properties effectively protect against cold, ensuring a stable and economical environment.
How to choose the amount of film needed for my growing space?
This Mylar is sold by the meter (width 1.2 m), allowing you to perfectly adjust the surface to be covered according to the area and height of your walls. Simply measure the linear length of walls to be insulated to order the exact quantity, with no surplus or shortage.
What precautions should be taken to use this film in a humid environment?
Although Mylar is resistant to oxidation and durable, it is recommended to avoid using it in humid areas without effective ventilation, as excessive moisture could promote condensation. Ensure good ventilation of the space to maintain the longevity of the material.
Why is this Mylar more durable than other reflective films on the market?
The manufacturing with anti-oxidation material ensures superior resistance to humidity, mold, and weather effects, unlike standard films that yellow, weaken, or oxidize quickly. Its sturdiness and ease of maintenance (washable with diluted bleach) make it a durable investment for your crops.
How does this product improve the yields of my crops?
By optimizing light diffusion and heat retention, this Mylar creates an ideal microclimate for plant growth. This results in more efficient photosynthesis, a more uniform development of plants, and ultimately, more abundant and higher quality harvests.
Why prioritize this Mylar over a white or black tarp for insulation?
While white or black tarps reflect on average 70% of light, Mylar achieves up to 97% reflection, turning every ray of light into useful energy for plants. Its specific coating is designed for intensive horticulture, where a classic tarp barely suffices for basic insulation.
