Accepted Answer

The Phonic Trap Duct 3 Meters – Ø200 mm Pre-Cut is compatible with all types of extractors, making it very versatile. It fits both conventional extractors and more specialized models. Its interior made of flexible microporous non-woven fabric ensures a noise reduction of approximately 50% compared to standard aluminum ducting. This effectively limits noise disturbances, a real asset in intensive cultivation where silence promotes an optimal growth environment. When paired with silent extractors such as the Prima Klima Ø200mm, this duct becomes a key element in controlling noise while ensuring effective ventilation.

Question 6

Phonic Trap duct 3m 200mm comfortable for micro box installation 60x60x160 without pressure loss?

Accepted Answer

The Phonic Trap 3m Ø200 mm duct is a high-quality, high-performance solution to limit pressure losses even at high flow rates thanks to its specific design. However, for a micro box of 60x60x160 cm, its large diameter may make the installation somewhat restrictive in terms of bulkiness and flexibility compared to more common diameters like 100, 125, or 160 mm. If space allows and your extractor is sized for this diameter, the installation will be comfortable and the pressure loss will be negligible. Otherwise, a smaller diameter will be more suitable and easier to integrate without compromising performance.
