However, it is often possible to integrate such equipment into a home automation network using smart relays that control the power supply for heating or ventilation.
If you wish to accurately automate the heating and ventilation cycles, this may require some technical adaptation with a third-party home automation system. However, it remains an excellent idea for optimizing your indoor cultivation with precise remote control.
The digital thermostat integrated into the X-Stream - 61x42x27cm greenhouse offers an accuracy of approximately 1°C, similar to that of the Nutriculture X-Stream Heat model. This precision is essential to ensure a stable temperature, which is a critical condition for the success of germination and the proper development of cuttings.
Maintaining a constant temperature avoids variations that can disrupt growth or block germination. With precise regulation between 5°C and 30°C, the thermostat allows for perfect adaptation of the environment to the specific needs of young plants, thus ensuring uniform and vigorous growth.
Furthermore, use the integrated thermostat to maintain a stable temperature between 18°C and 24°C, which limits humidity spikes that favor fungal diseases. Finally, a gradual hardening by increasing ventilation prepares seedlings for a less humid environment before transplanting, enhancing their vitality.
This precise management of humidity and temperature in the X-Stream greenhouse ensures healthy rooting and optimal growth of young plants.
The set temperature in the Heated Greenhouse - X-Stream - 61x42x27cm remains generally stable over several weeks of continuous use thanks to its built-in thermostat. The latter automatically adjusts the heating to compensate for fluctuations, thus ensuring a constant environment for your seedlings and cuttings.
However, optimal stability depends on several factors: a well-calibrated thermostat installed away from drafts, regular maintenance of the system, and a relatively stable external environment. Under normal conditions, users notice few notable fluctuations.
In summary, with appropriate installation and monitoring, you benefit from a reliable and constant temperature, ideal for promoting the growth of your young plants.
In a confined space like an apartment or a heated mini-greenhouse, manual ventilation alone is generally not enough to prevent humidity issues related to plant growth. Natural air circulation, even if regular, struggles to effectively remove the water vapor produced, which can promote condensation and mold.
For optimal humidity control and a healthy environment, it is strongly recommended to opt for mechanical or assisted ventilation. These systems allow for the quick removal of humid air and help maintain a stable humidity level, which is essential in a closed space filled with water vapor like your heated greenhouse.
If you wish, we can advise you on suitable ventilation systems for this type of installation.
The X-Stream Heated Greenhouse is equipped with a digital thermostat that allows for temperature settings with an accuracy of 1 °C between 5 °C and 30 °C. This ensures a stable and homogeneous temperature, without hot or cold spots, which is ideal for maintaining an optimal environment during the critical stages of cutting.
However, as with any thermal regulation system, slight fluctuations may occur depending on ambient conditions. Nevertheless, these variations remain very limited and do not undermine the effectiveness of the greenhouse in ensuring a constant heat and a high success rate for cuttings.
The digital thermostat integrated into this type of heated greenhouse offers very precise temperature control, often within ±0.5°C, which is ideal for maintaining a stable environment for your seedlings and cuttings.
However, in a confined space like 61x42x27 cm, heat can accumulate quickly. Even with an efficient thermostat, it is important to ensure that the heating power is adequate (usually between 20 and 60 watts) and to provide a slight ventilation to prevent overheating or excess humidity. Placing the thermostat close to the plants also allows for a more accurate measurement of the actual temperature.
In summary, the digital thermostat greatly minimizes the risk of overheating, but proper management of power and ventilation remains essential to ensure a perfectly suited climate for your crops in this small volume.
It is also advisable to create distinct zones with trays or separations to group plants with similar needs, thus optimizing the homogeneous diffusion of heat. Make sure to space the plants adequately to promote good thermal circulation and avoid areas that are too hot or too cold. Finally, avoid placing the greenhouse on cold ground, which can create problematic cold spots.
Keep in mind that the heating plate is generally 1 to 2 °C warmer than the ambient air, an important detail to refine your settings according to the specific needs of each variety.
To optimize the ventilation of your X-Stream heated greenhouse without losing thermal stability, it is essential to manage moderate ventilation via adjustable shutters, just enough to expel excess humidity and odors without causing cold drafts.
The integrated thermostat, very precise, allows for a stable and ideal temperature for your seedlings and cuttings, thus ensuring optimal growth despite the ventilation.
If you want more advanced control, integrating with a home automation system can automate the opening of the shutters based on temperature and humidity, thus limiting heat loss while ensuring effective air renewal.
Finally, always keep the lid in place: it retains heat and humidity, conditions essential for the success of your crops.
In summary: ventilate moderately with adjustable shutters, stabilize the temperature via the thermostat, consider home automation, and keep the lid closed to limit odors and excess humidity while ensuring a stable temperature.
The Invernadero Calefactado - X-Stream greenhouse, with its compact dimensions (61x42x27 cm), is ideal for young plants, but it limits the available space. LST (Low Stress Training) can be practiced inside while ensuring not to overcrowd the surface and maintaining good ventilation, for example by regularly opening the greenhouse to refresh the air and avoid stagnant humidity.
On the other hand, SCROG, which involves installing a mesh and a larger space to develop a plant canopy, is less suitable for this restricted volume. This setup could disturb air circulation and the homogeneous temperature maintained by the integrated thermostat, creating undesirable microclimates.
For an effective SCROG system without compromising ventilation or temperature, we recommend opting for a more spacious greenhouse or one equipped with active ventilation. This way, you ensure optimal and healthy development of your plants.
The Heated Greenhouse - X-Stream - 61x42x27cm features a classic thermostat but does not have smart home connectivity. Therefore, it is not compatible with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant to remotely adjust the temperature or ventilation.
For voice control or remote management, you should consider horticultural heating solutions specifically designed for home automation, incorporating Wi-Fi or Bluetooth functions.
The digital thermostat integrated into the X-Stream Heated Greenhouse 61x42x27cm offers complete autonomy, regulating the temperature independently over several days. Its accuracy is approximately ±1 °C, ensuring a stable temperature maintenance between 5 °C and 30 °C.
Thanks to excellent insulation and a heating plate that distributes heat evenly, thermal fluctuations are very limited. This system creates a stable microclimate, ideal for your seedlings and cuttings, without abrupt variations that could harm their development.
To optimize the management of two different crops simultaneously, it is necessary to use one thermostat per greenhouse or a professional multi-zone control system capable of managing multiple independent sensors and heating circuits. This ensures a perfectly tailored environment for each crop, essential for their harmonious development.
The heated greenhouse X-Stream 61x42x27cm features an accurate digital thermostat (adjustable from 5 to 30 °C) compatible with home automation systems via WiFi or smart relays. This allows you to control the heating feed to finely automate seeding and cutting cycles.
By connecting this thermostat to a home automation controller, you can schedule time slots, adjust the temperature according to growth phases, and manage ventilation if necessary through additional sensors. The lid with adjustable vents also allows for gentle humidity adjustment, integrated into your automatic routines.
This precise and homogeneous management optimizes plant development without manual intervention, ensuring a stable environment perfectly suited for each stage of seeding or cutting.
The integrated thermostat of the X-Stream heated greenhouse maintains a stable temperature between 5 and 30 °C with an accuracy of about 1 °C, ideal for the growth of young plants.
The gradual opening of the front shutters helps to reduce humidity and strengthen the seedlings. This ventilation may cause a slight temporary drop in indoor temperature, but the thermostat automatically adjusts the heating power to compensate for these variations.
In summary, opening the shutters to manage humidity does not cause a significant drop in temperature if the thermostat is well-adjusted and if the opening is moderate. It is an excellent way to balance heat and humidity for your seedlings and cuttings.
