What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Grow for TLED?

Full Spectrum, as its name suggests, offers a more complete light spectrum, including red wavelengths, making it more versatile and suitable for the entire plant life cycle, from growth to flowering. If you're just starting out, I often recommend Full Spectrum for its flexibility.

Which TLED power to choose: 26W or 42W?

The choice between 26W and 42W primarily depends on the area to be lit and the light intensity your plants need. For small areas or as a supplement to main lighting, the 26W TLED is often sufficient. If you have a slightly larger area, or if you want a higher light intensity for more demanding plants, I would direct you towards the 42W. Remember that TLEDs are primarily designed for low-lying plants or as supplementary lighting.

How to install the TLED in a grow tent?

Installing the TLED is really simple, that's one of its big advantages! It's designed to be clipped directly onto the vertical poles of your grow tent. I recommend positioning it so that the light is well distributed over your plants. Make sure it's securely fastened to prevent it from falling. It's a very practical system for adding side light or illuminating shaded areas.

What is TLED lighting used for in indoor cultivation?

TLED lighting is an excellent tool for indoor cultivation, especially for low-lying plants or as a light supplement. In practice, I often see it used to reinforce side lighting, fill in shaded areas that the main lighting cannot reach, or for the growth phases of young seedlings. It can also be very useful for maintaining mother plants or for cuttings. Its small footprint and ease of installation make it a valuable asset.

What distance should the TLED be from the plants?

The TLED is an LED light that emits little heat, which is an advantage. I advise placing it relatively close to the plants, generally between 5 and 15 cm. Can TLED be combined with other lamps like HPS?

Absolutely! In fact, it's a practice I often recommend. TLED is excellent as a complement to other types of lighting, such as HPS lamps. HPS are very effective for general light intensity, but they tend to penetrate dense foliage less well, leaving the lower parts of the plants less illuminated. By adding TLEDs to the sides or underneath, you can improve light penetration and promote more homogeneous plant development. This strategy allows you to optimize the overall yield of your crop.

What is the lifespan of a TLED?

The lifespan of a TLED, like any lighting, depends on the light cycle your plants need. During the vegetative growth phase, I generally recommend 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. During flowering, it's often 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. The TLED itself has a very long lifespan, up to 50,000 hours, which means you won't have to worry about replacing it frequently. It's a durable investment for your cultivation.
