AC Infinity is back at GrowLED: discover the range and our commitment to quality

GrowLED news · Indoor growing

AC Infinity is back in our catalogue. Following a pause linked to standards compliance, the issues behind our decision have now been resolved. We can therefore offer the brand again, with the same approach that guides our selection: quality equipment suited to your growing space and products we can recommend with confidence.

Explore the AC Infinity range available at GrowLED: compare models, read their specifications and check availability on each product page.

If you have been waiting for AC Infinity to return so you can upgrade your indoor growing setup, you can now find the range at GrowLED again. From CLOUDLAB tents and IONFRAME lights to CLOUDRAY fans and connected controls, the brand offers an appealing idea: equipment that works together to help you manage your plants’ environment.

This return deserves an explanation. Why did we remove AC Infinity from our catalogue? Why does safety matter so much to GrowLED? And which products are available today? We explain our approach, then introduce the 25 AC Infinity products currently offered by GrowLED and the role each one plays in a setup.

Why AC Infinity left our catalogue

Timeline: withdrawal from the catalogue, resolution of standards-related issues and AC Infinity’s return.

We removed AC Infinity from our catalogue following issues relating to standards compliance. For GrowLED, a brand’s popularity, innovations or commercial appeal are not enough to justify stocking its products while compliance questions remain unresolved.

That decision reflected our responsibility as a retailer: we need to be able to recommend equipment with confidence. A light, fan or climate control system becomes part of your everyday surroundings, sometimes in a room in your home. The quality of the products we offer therefore has very practical implications.

The issues that prompted the withdrawal have now been resolved, and AC Infinity is returning to GrowLED. We are pleased to offer its solutions again. Our approach remains the same: take the time needed when the circumstances require it, then make products available once the conditions for their return have been met.

For Joseph, safety is personal

Typography recalling Joseph’s house fire in 2007 and the importance of safety at GrowLED.

In 2007, Joseph experienced a fire at home involving a sodium lamp. That event explains the particular importance of safety and compliance with standards in GrowLED’s approach.

After experiencing a fire in your own home, you no longer judge electrical equipment solely by its power or performance. You also consider how it is installed, the conditions in which it is used and the people living around it. This personal experience shapes our caution and the care we take when selecting equipment.

It was in this spirit that we suspended sales of AC Infinity until the questions that concerned us had been resolved. Trust is also built through the decisions you make when continuing to sell would be the easier option.

Our aim remains to provide quality products and help you choose them. Good equipment also needs to suit your space, be installed according to its instructions and operate within the conditions specified by its manufacturer. Technology opens up possibilities; careful installation remains essential.

AC Infinity: thinking about the whole growing environment

Four AC Infinity product families shown with actual product photos: tent, lighting, fan and controller.

AC Infinity is an American company based in California, specialising in environmental control. Its activities include indoor growing, home ventilation and cooling for audiovisual equipment. This expertise in airflow and regulation also informs its horticultural solutions. AC Infinity’s introduction to the brand.

Inside a grow tent, light, temperature, humidity and air circulation constantly interact. Increasing lighting changes the demands on the setup; replacing the air can affect humidity; plant growth alters the way air moves between leaves. It makes sense to consider the whole system before choosing individual devices.

AC Infinity develops several complementary product families: CLOUDLAB tents; IONFRAME, IONGRID and IONBEAM lighting; CLOUDRAY circulation fans; CLOUDLINE extraction; CLOUDFORGE humidification; and controllers that coordinate compatible equipment.

UIS: connecting compatible devices

UIS diagram connecting the AI+ controller to compatible lighting, circulation, humidification and extraction.
Conceptual diagram: connections and accessories depend on the models chosen.

The UIS platform lets a central controller manage several compatible devices. Depending on the connected equipment and selected programming, it can adjust fan speed, lighting intensity or humidifier operation. With a compatible controller, the AC Infinity app provides remote monitoring and settings.

The benefit is practical: instead of managing multiple separate settings, you gain a clearer view of your setup as a whole. You can also build it gradually. Products do not all connect in the same way: the options depend on the controller, ports, accessories and each device’s exact compatibility. Supported equipment from other brands requires the appropriate adapters. How UIS works · Manufacturer’s compatibility guide.

The full AC Infinity range offered by GrowLED

Overview of 25 products: five tents, six lights, three fans, four kits, one controller, one humidifier and five accessories.

Here are the 25 products in our catalogue at the time of writing: five tents, six lighting solutions, three circulation fans, four filtration kits, one controller, one humidifier and five accessories. The brand’s international catalogue is broader; the models below are those offered by GrowLED.

A note on availability: returning to the catalogue does not mean that every model is immediately in stock. Some products are awaiting restocking. Check each product page for current delivery times and ordering information.

1. CLOUDLAB: five tents to organise your growing space

Visual comparison of CLOUDLAB 722, 632, 642, 733 and 844 tents with their floor dimensions.

The tent is the starting point for a setup. It defines the growing area, provides support for equipment designed to be suspended and helps organise ventilation. The CLOUDLAB tents offered by GrowLED combine 2000D Oxford fabric, a reflective interior and a steel frame. When choosing a size, consider the available space as well as access to the plants and the equipment you plan to install.

Before choosing, measure the room and the available opening. A tent that fits on the floor must also open properly, connect to ventilation and remain accessible for maintenance.

2. IONFRAME EVO: four main bar-style grow lights

The four IONFRAME lights: EVO3 280 W, EVO4 300 W, EVO6 500 W and EVO8 730 W.

The IONFRAME EVO family uses a bar-style frame and Samsung LM301H EVO diodes. This layout spreads the light sources across the fixture. The four models offered by GrowLED let you choose the power and dimensions that suit your project.

IONFRAME EVO3 — AC Infinity

Main grow light

IONFRAME EVO3

Choosing well does not mean automatically choosing the most powerful model. It means matching the growing area, plants’ needs, dimming options and installation conditions. When comparing two lights, distribution across the growing area matters as much as electricity consumption.

3. IONGRID and IONBEAM: small spaces and supplemental lighting

IONGRID 130 W grow light and four IONBEAM S16 bars, showing their different uses.
IONGRID 130 W — AC Infinity

Small spaces

IONGRID 130 W

130 WAC-IGS22

A compact, full-spectrum grow light. It is an option for a 60 × 60 cm space, with lower power than the larger IONFRAME models. Consider it when the aim is to build a balanced small setup without oversizing the lighting.

View this product
IONBEAM S16 — AC Infinity

Supplemental lighting

IONBEAM S16

4 bars40.7 cm

Designed for a different purpose. This system includes four full-spectrum bars, intended in particular to supplement the main light and reach less well-lit areas. Their mounting system allows different positions within the tent. They can also be used for small propagation setups, depending on the configuration. Manufacturer’s introduction to the IONBEAM S16.

Choose supplemental lighting after identifying a need: a poorly lit side area, foliage casting shade or a small space for young plants. Adding watts without a clear purpose is not a lighting strategy.

4. AC Infinity CLOUDRAY fans: A6, S6 and S9

CLOUDRAY A6, S6 Gen 2 and S9 Gen 2 fans compared by manual positioning or automatic oscillation.

Circulation fans keep air moving inside the tent. They complement extraction, which replaces the air by removing it. Understanding the difference between these two functions is essential when planning your setup.

CLOUDRAY A6 — AC Infinity

Circulation fan

CLOUDRAY A6

10 speedsManual positioning

An EC motor fan with ten speeds and dynamic wind modes. Its direction is adjusted manually. It lets you direct airflow towards a chosen area; it should not be confused with an automatically oscillating model.

CLOUDRAY S6 Gen 2 — AC Infinity

Oscillating fan

CLOUDRAY S6 Gen 2

Ø 150 mmAutomatic oscillation

A clip-on fan with automatic oscillation and ten speeds. Its design allows it to attach to a tent frame while taking up little floor space.

CLOUDRAY S9 Gen 2 — AC Infinity

Oscillating fan

CLOUDRAY S9 Gen 2

Ø 225 mmAutomatic oscillation

A larger-diameter version that also oscillates. It offers another option when the air volume or foliage arrangement calls for a larger fan.

The settings should create suitable air circulation without subjecting a plant to a constant, excessive airflow. Fan position and direction deserve just as much attention as speed.

5. Extraction and filtration: four kits for air exchange

FKS4, FKS6, PRO FKT4 and PRO FKT6 kits with their diameters and control types.

A filtration kit combines components that need to work together: an inline fan, carbon filter and ducting. The fan draws air through the system; the filter helps reduce odours. GrowLED offers two diameters, each available with a speed controller or, in the PRO version, smart control.

Diameter alone does not determine the right kit. Tent volume, heat to be removed, duct length, bends and filter resistance also matter. A well-sized system leaves room for adjustment and avoids running the fan at maximum speed all the time.

If you already plan to use a central controller, check which controller is supplied with your chosen kit. This helps you understand what is included and avoid an extra purchase that your project does not need.

6. CONTROLLER AI+: bringing your controls together

CONTROLLER AI+: eight ports, temperature and humidity monitoring, VPD, cycles and schedules.
CONTROLLER AI+ — AC Infinity

Central control

CONTROLLER AI+

8 UIS portsWi-Fi & Bluetooth

Centralises the management of compatible UIS equipment. The manufacturer describes eight ports with independent programming, temperature-, humidity- or VPD-based triggers, as well as cycles and schedules. The app connects via Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Official CONTROLLER AI+ guide.

Its value becomes clear in everyday use: tracking climate changes, adjusting a setpoint and coordinating the response of connected devices. VPD, or vapour pressure deficit, is an indicator that helps you understand the air’s evaporative demand in relation to temperature and humidity. It complements those two readings.

Automation and assistance features do not replace choosing settings appropriate for your plants. When starting out, straightforward programming and a few carefully monitored parameters are more useful than a collection of settings you do not yet understand.

7. AC Infinity CLOUDFORGE T3 humidifier: when is it useful?

CLOUDFORGE T3 with its 4.5-litre tank, adding moisture when the air is too dry.
CLOUDFORGE T3 — AC Infinity

Humidification

CLOUDFORGE T3

4.5 L tankWith probe

A 4.5-litre humidifier with a probe, targeted misting and UIS compatibility. It adds moisture when growing conditions require it, particularly in a room where the ambient air is too dry for your needs. CLOUDFORGE T3 specifications.

View this product

Its function should be clear: a humidifier adds moisture. If your air is already too humid, you need to adjust other parts of the setup. Probe placement, tank maintenance and coordination with extraction all help achieve useful control.

8. Support bars and padlocks: accessories for your tent

How do you build a balanced AC Infinity setup?

Four selection steps: define the space, match the lighting, organise the climate and choose the controls.
Illustrative selection guide: these products are not sold together as one kit.

Start with the project, then choose the equipment. Which plants will you grow? How much space can you dedicate to them? Where will the air be exhausted? How much automation do you want? These answers make choosing much easier.

For a small square space, the CLOUDLAB 722 and IONGRID 130 W provide a starting point to consider, complemented by extraction and circulation suited to the actual conditions. For a rectangular 120 × 60 cm space, the CLOUDLAB 642 and IONFRAME EVO3 are a logical pairing in terms of shape. For 120 × 120 cm, the CLOUDLAB 844 and IONFRAME EVO6 are models to compare together when planning your project.

These pairings are starting points, not complete, ready-to-run kits. You still need to check fixture dimensions, hanging hardware, extraction, filtration if required and connection accessories. A controller and humidifier can then be added according to your monitoring needs and room conditions.

Already have a setup? You do not need to replace everything to try AC Infinity. You can start by improving one specific area, such as circulation or control, while checking compatibility with the equipment you keep. Our team can help you plan that upgrade.

Your questions about AC Infinity’s return

Three FAQ reference points: availability, device function and compatibility.

Why is GrowLED offering AC Infinity again?

AC Infinity returns to the catalogue after resolution of the issues that prompted its withdrawal.

The standards-related issues that led us to remove the brand from our catalogue have now been resolved. Its return follows the same commitment to quality and trust that guided our original decision.

Are all products available immediately?

Two possible availability states: in stock or awaiting restocking; check the product page.

Availability varies by model. Some products are in stock; others are awaiting restocking. Each product page provides up-to-date ordering and delivery information.

Do I have to buy a controller?

Individual device settings or central control using a compatible controller.

It depends on the device and the level of control you want. Several products have their own adjustments or a supplied controller. A compatible UIS controller lets you coordinate devices and access the corresponding connected features. Check what is included with each model.

Are CLOUDRAY fans and extraction the same thing?

Illustrated comparison: an internal circulation fan and an extraction kit for air exchange.

No. A CLOUDRAY circulates air inside the tent. An inline exhaust fan removes air from the growing space so it can be replaced. The two fulfil complementary roles.

Are tents and accessories connected too?

A tent is a physical structure; connected control relies on compatible devices and controllers.

A tent or support bar is a physical part of the setup. Connectivity applies to compatible devices and controllers. Choosing one brand can make it easier to build a consistent configuration, but it does not make every accessory controllable.
