This involves mixing a little vermiculite (2% by volume) when using peat alone. Peat. when it dries. it is difficult to rehydrate. The moisture retained by the vermiculite prevents the peat from drying out completely, making rehydration easier.

It has very interesting properties in gardening. such as its great water absorption and high CEC.
