These bars supplement the main light. Avoid UV-A exposure to eyes and skin and switch off before working nearby. Do not apply a universal exposure schedule.
Looking after your equipment
Unplug before cleaning. Remove debris, clean accessible surfaces and allow to dry. Check fittings, air passages and cables; inspect the filter if installed.

The base configuration contains five separate 20 W bars outside the kits, but the listed single and dual supplies provide four 20 W outputs in total. Have the power-supply layout completed before operating all bars.
Do UV bars replace the main light?
Use this 365 nm UV-A bar only alongside a main light, with separate scheduling. Do not leave it on continuously by default: prolonged exposure can damage plants. Avoid eye and skin exposure and switch it off before working nearby. Define duration using plant-specific guidance and manufacturer instructions, not wattage alone.

What should I check before installing it?
Lodge L100 R4.00 has a nominal 100 × 60 cm footprint, or 0.6 m². Equipment, ducts and access reduce the space available for pots. Total height is 158 cm; subtract pots, the light, hangers and lighting clearance to calculate plant space. Clear door opening dimensions cannot be inferred from exterior dimensions.

Allow for the 47 cm physical length plus fittings and cables. Usable coverage depends on height, lamp arrangement and plant light requirements. Check the layout before choosing.
The 50 and 90 cm formats have physical bar lengths of 47 and 87 cm. Bar length is not illuminated coverage.

A format you can position
The bar format lets you arrange several light sources across the setup. Check spacing and light levels at the edges.

6500 K white light is intended for seedlings, cuttings and vegetative growth. Choose flowering lighting according to your plants’ actual needs.
Separate components
Choose the Cosmorrow bar and power supply separately. A compatible part can be replaced without replacing everything; check the generation and connectors.

Unplug the power supply and use fittings suited to the support. Keep the light and cables secure.

Connect compatible parts
Check voltage, rated capacity and connectors before powering on. Never connect a 24 V bar directly to mains.

Adjust to the crop
Follow your version’s instructions, observe plants and measure temperature. A distance used in a test is not a universal rule.
Looking after your equipment
Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning. Gently remove dust and check fittings and cables. Do not remove a Cosmorrow bar’s transparent sleeve: it is part of its protection.

Before you choose
Check your setup before choosing
DF16 uses dedicated connections. Duct mounting requires DF16 connectors of the chosen diameter; tent mounting requires a compatible flange. Set maximum airflow for the filter, not just the motor capacity.
Three separate controls: TEMP° for the target, EXT. MIN for ongoing minimum air exchange and EXT. MAX for the upper speed limit. Connecting the remote probe disables the built-in probe.
The manual states a ±2 °C control delta around the setpoint. This does not guarantee the target if incoming air is too warm or available airflow is insufficient.

Extractor, remote power supply, EU/UK/US mains adapters, second temperature probe and mounting adapter listed in the manual.
What you need to add
Carbon filter, ducts and connectors as required. The controller has no documented Wi-Fi connection or built-in humidity sensor.

EXT. MIN keeps air moving below the temperature target. Adjust this minimum after checking humidity too.
Limit the upper speed
EXT. MAX sets an upper level suited to the filter and circuit. Actual airflow depends on system resistance.
Measure at a chosen point
The remote probe lets you choose the measurement location. It replaces the internal probe; readings are not averaged.

Choose this filter for a maximum nominal airflow of 150 m³/h and check the DF16 connection. The outer body diameter is not a direct duct connection size.
Place the filter in the extracted-air path with no bypass. Heat, humidity, ducts and bends affect the complete system.
The rating helps select the filter; it is not guaranteed airflow once installed. Carbon retains odour compounds, without a promise of total removal in every condition.

Will it fit my extractor?
The DF16F150 uses the DF16 interface. It needs compatible connections and a nominal airflow setting no higher than 150 m³/h. Another extractor may require an adapter and a system check; compatibility is not automatic. The 22,5 cm body diameter is not a duct connection size.
When should the filter be replaced?
No fixed lifetime or constant effectiveness over a year is guaranteed. Humidity, dust, airflow and odour load affect saturation. Check the prefilter and connections; if odour persists with a correctly assembled circuit, plan replacement. Cleaning the prefilter does not regenerate the carbon.
