A drip system never fails all at once: it silts up slowly. Limescale from tap water settles on the walls, algae take hold in light-exposed tubing, and flow drops drip by drip until one pot receives half as much water as its neighbour. Atami's ATA Clean works continuously in the nutrient solution to prevent that scenario.
Why a clogged system costs you
The real risk of a blocked dripper is not breakdown: it is irrigation quietly becoming uneven. Two plants in the same tray receive different volumes, one dries out while the other sits wet, and you go looking for the cause in your feed. On hard water the problem sets in within weeks.

Which set-ups is it for?
ATA Clean suits anyone whose water passes through narrow channels: dripper lines, recirculating hydroponic systems, flood tables, pumps and filters. It is particularly worthwhile on tap water, whose hardness is the leading cause of scaling. On reverse-osmosis water the limescale risk disappears but algae remain, and the product keeps its purpose.
How to use ATA Clean
The order of operations matters more than the quantity: ATA Clean goes in last, once the solution has settled.
- Dosage — 0.1 ml per litre of nutrient solution, with every fresh mix.
- Order — prepare the solution, correct pH to between 5.5 and 6.5, let it stand briefly, then add ATA Clean.
- Frequency — preventively at every reservoir refill, rather than as a cure once the system is blocked.
- Tap water — this is where the product earns its keep, since hardness accelerates deposits.
Your drippers keep their original flow and every plant receives the same thing — the condition for an even crop.
