2. Hazard presented by the product

This product contains benzisothiazolinone, a sensitising substance, without this being indicated on its label.

Analyses carried out by the French Service Commun des Laboratoires (test report No 2026-9641-1-V1 of 9 July 2026), at the request of the consumer protection authority (DDPP) of Meurthe-et-Moselle, measured a benzisothiazolinone content of 0.0178 % (w/w).

At this concentration, the label must carry the hazard statement EUH208 "Contains benzisothiazolinone. May produce an allergic reaction", pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. This statement is missing, as are the hazard pictogram and the signal word.

Contact with this product may cause an allergic skin reaction. Users are not warned of this risk and therefore cannot take the necessary precautions when handling and diluting the product.

The analyses also established that the water-soluble calcium oxide content is 0.7 % (w/w), far below the 4.2 % declared on the label and outside the tolerances set by the French order of 7 July 2005.

The product has been declared non-compliant and dangerous by the French authorities.

3. What you must do

Stop using this product immediately.
Do not use the product any more, even diluted, and do not decant it.
Keep the container closed and out of the reach of children until it is returned.
If you have handled the product and notice a skin reaction, seek medical advice.
Return the product to the store or contact us to arrange its collection.

4. Your rights

You may obtain, at your choice and free of charge:

a full refund of the product, upon presentation of the product or of a proof of purchase;

or its replacement with a safe product of the same type, of at least equivalent value and quality.

Return costs are borne by us. No proof of purchase is required for in-store purchases: simply presenting a container from the batch concerned is sufficient.
