Présentation du produit

Feed over the long run with ATA NRG Upgrade

A liquid feed is dosed at every watering. A solid fertiliser is incorporated once and works for weeks. Atami's ATA NRG Upgrade belongs to the second category: made from natural phosphate and plant-derived ingredients, it is rich in organic nitrogen to sustain full growth.

Form: Solid fertiliser
Composition: Natural phosphate, plant matter
Release: Gradual, via soil life
Sizes: 600 g, 3 kg, 6 kg

Why gradual release changes everything

Upgrade's nutrients are not directly available: they depend on the soil life to be released. What looks like a drawback is in fact the product's central safeguard — the plant receives what it needs at the pace the soil releases it, never a spike it could not absorb.

  • No burn — With no salt spike, the risk of root burn disappears.
  • Long availability — A single application covers several weeks of growing.
  • Soil life sustained — Organic matter feeds the microflora as well as the plant.
  • Organic nitrogen — Full growth, carried by a slow source.

A fertiliser that assumes living soil

Upgrade only works if the microflora is there to do the work. On a sterile substrate, or one leached by repeated flushing, release does not happen and the product stays inert. That is the logical price of its safety: it delegates to the soil what a mineral feed imposes directly.

One application, several weeks of nutrition — provided the soil is alive.

How to incorporate it

Upgrade is mixed into the substrate rather than diluted. Blend it into the soil when preparing or potting on, or spread it on the surface before watering. The 600 g size suits a few pots; 3 kg and 6 kg cover larger areas.

How to use ATA NRG Upgrade

An evenly spread application beats a heavy dose in one spot.

  • Incorporation — Mix into the substrate when preparing or potting on.
  • Spreading — Spread evenly rather than concentrating near the roots.
  • Substrate — Keep it for living substrate, not an inert or sterile medium.
  • Flushing — Avoid repeated flushing, which leaches the microflora it needs.

Your plants hold a stable nutrient reserve, released at the pace they need.

Joseph's tip: "A solid organic fertiliser needs preparing ahead: mix it into the substrate one to two weeks before planting, so the soil life has time to get to work. Adding it on the day itself means waiting for nothing."
Joseph
