Cli-mate Climate Fan Controller 4 A
800 W • Fan boxes up to 2,500 m³/h • Adjustable thermostat and minimum speed • IP44
This speed controller is sized for larger installations: 800 W of admissible power and stated compatibility with extraction boxes up to 2,500 m³/h. It carries a sensor-driven thermostat and two potentiometers, one for target temperature, one for minimum speed.
What it prevents: a high-power extractor running flat out when demand is low. On an installation running continuously, that is where most of the noise and the bill are decided.
Two potentiometers, two distinct decisions
The first sets the target temperature in the space. The second sets the extractor’s minimum speed — the level below which it will never drop, even when the temperature is low. That second setting is what guarantees permanent air renewal.
Matching extraction to the season
An extractor correctly sized for summer is oversized in winter. Rather than leaving it at full power all year, this controller lets you hold the speed down through the cold months and raise it again when heat returns — without unplugging anything.
Sizing to check
The limit is twofold: 4 A and 800 W. Check both on your extractor’s rating plate before ordering. The stated compatibility up to 2,500 m³/h concerns extraction boxes whose draw stays within that envelope.

GrowLED tip :
Setting the minimum speed too low is a false economy: below a certain point the carbon filter is no longer properly crossed and odours get through. Set that floor by checking at the outlet, not just by ear.
