Cli-mate Frequency Controller – continuous adjustment, 3 to 15 A

Soyez le premier à donner votre avis
  • Continuous hertz-by-hertz adjustment: speed sits exactly where you need it, with no steps.
  • Quieter than a voltage controller: the motor does not hum at low speed.
  • Two modes: automatic on temperature, or manual at a set speed.
  • LCD screen and digital configuration: a setting can be reproduced exactly.
  • Temperature sensor and mounting plate included. 3 A, 7 A and 15 A versions.

Présentation du produit

Cli-mate Frequency Controller
Continuous hertz-by-hertz adjustment • LCD screen • Auto and manual modes • Sensor included • 3, 7 or 15 A

This controller sets extractor speed by acting on the frequency of the supply rather than simply lowering the voltage. Adjustment happens hertz by hertz, with no steps: the motor runs smoothly across the whole range, more quietly, and power draw genuinely follows the speed you ask for.

The concrete gain: an extractor that no longer runs either flat out or barely at all, but exactly at the airflow you need — less noise, lower consumption, and a climate that stops swinging.

Control type : frequency variation, continuous adjustment
Adjustment precision : down to the hertz, no steps
Operating modes : automatic and manual
Display : large LCD screen
Temperature control : advanced hysteresis
Sensor : temperature sensor included
Current ratings : 3 A, 7 A or 15 A
Mounting : rear mounting plate included
Dimensions : 19 × 25 × 14 cm

Frequency rather than voltage: what changes

A conventional controller lowers the voltage sent to the motor. Simple, but at low speed the motor hums, heats up and loses torque. Acting on frequency means changing the quantity that actually determines rotation speed: operation stays smooth across the whole range, including very low.

That is also what explains the energy saving claimed by the manufacturer: the power drawn falls with the speed instead of being partly dissipated.

Two modes, depending on what you want to drive

In automatic mode, the unit reads the temperature from its sensor and adjusts speed on its own to hold the setpoint. In manual mode, you set the speed yourself and the unit holds it — useful for drying, commissioning an installation, or a particular stage of the cycle.

Hysteresis that smooths transitions

Rather than jumping abruptly from minimum to maximum, hysteresis control raises speed progressively as temperature drifts from the setpoint. The climate stays steadier and the motor takes far fewer hard starts.

Direct reading on the LCD screen

The large screen shows measured values and the fields being set. Configuration is entirely digital, avoiding the guesswork of a graduated dial and letting you return to exactly the same setting from one cycle to the next.

Choosing the right rating: the amperage must cover the combined draw of everything you connect. When in doubt, take the higher version — an oversized controller causes no problem, an undersized one trips.

GrowLED tip :
Place the sensor at canopy height, in the shade and away from the outlet: that is where the temperature your plants actually experience is decided. Then set the minimum speed just above the point where your extractor starts to hum — you gain quiet without ever cutting air renewal.
