Présentation du produit

Cli-mate 5-Speed Fan Controller
5 preset speeds • Direct setting • 5, 7, 11 and 13 A versions

This controller offers five preset speeds for your extraction and intake fans. You pick a notch, the unit holds it: no drift, no setting to find by eye, and the same airflow from one cycle to the next.

The point of a fixed notch: a speed you can identify is a speed you can return to. Note the notch that suits your room and come back to it without recalibrating anything.

Control type : preset speeds
Number of speeds : 5
Current ratings : 5 A, 7 A, 11 A or 13 A
Use : extraction and intake fans
Setting : direct, by selecting the notch
Power supply : 230 V mains

Five notches rather than a continuous dial

Stepped control has an advantage continuous control does not: it is repeatable. Where a graduated dial drifts at the slightest touch and forces you to readjust by ear, a notch can be noted and returned to. For a stable installation whose needs change little through the cycle, that is often all you need.

Cutting noise without cutting air renewal

Dropping one or two notches is usually enough to bring an extractor’s noise down sharply, because aerodynamic noise rises far faster than airflow. The trick is finding the lowest notch that still maintains proper air renewal — and staying there.

Choosing the right current rating

Four versions are offered: 5 A, 7 A, 11 A and 13 A. The rating must cover the combined draw of everything plugged into the controller. Add up your motor wattages, divide by mains voltage, and take the version immediately above the result.

GrowLED tip :
Mark the notch you use in veg and the one for flower: you will switch between them in a second, never hunting for the right setting again. And if your needs swing widely by time of day or season, consider a sensor-driven automatic model instead.
