The flow rate of 870 m³/h of the ISO-MAX 200mm is perfectly suitable for a greenhouse containing about twenty Phalaenopsis, provided that the volume of the greenhouse is reasonable (for example between 15 and 30 m³). This flow rate ensures good air renewal, essential to avoid stagnant humidity and maintain the health of your orchids. If your greenhouse is larger, an additional ventilation system will be necessary.
To ensure an ideal integration of the ISO MAX 200mm into a system with a carbon filter, it is essential to place the extractor upstream of the filter to ensure effective suction and limit pressure losses. Use the provided mounting brackets to ensure a stable installation, which reduces vibrations and unwanted noises. Ensure a perfect seal on the connections between the extractor, ducts, and filter to avoid air leaks and nuisance noises.
Its powerful motor and silent casing guarantee a strong air flow (870 m³/h) while limiting noise. The 3-speed control allows adjusting the flow rate according to needs to find the perfect balance between performance and silence. Also, limit bends in the ducting to optimize air passage.
By combining these best practices, the ISO MAX 200mm offers effective, durable, and discreet operation, ideal for maintaining a healthy environment under horticultural LED lighting.
The precise noise level of the ISO-MAX 200mm CAN FILTER extractor at full power (870 m³/h) is 59 dB(A) measured at 1 meter. This model includes a 3-speed regulator (300, 600, and 870 m³/h), allowing for stepped adjustment of the airflow.
However, it is not clearly confirmed that this fan is compatible with an external speed variator for continuous and more precise adjustment of the airflow. The motor appears to be designed to operate only on these three predefined speeds.
For more fine and continuous control of the airflow, you may consider a fan with variable regulation suited to your indoor cultivation needs.
The ISO-MAX 200 mm – Dosenfilter – 870 m³/h is designed for continuous operation without overheating, even in small cultivation spaces. Its high-efficiency stator-rotor motor ensures a powerful and stable airflow, while the integrated thermal switch automatically protects against excessive temperature rise. Its robust metal housing with sound insulation also ensures quiet and reliable use.
Thanks to its 3-speed control, it adapts perfectly to the specific needs of your space, optimizing both ventilation and thermal management. This fan is therefore an excellent choice for indoor cultivation in small volumes, especially when used with an appropriate carbon filter for effective filtration.
The Iso-Max 200mm - CAN FILTER - 870m³/h is designed with an integrated three-step speed control via a dedicated switch. This system allows for adjusting the airflow while maintaining a very low noise level, its main quality.
The use of an external speed controller is not planned or recommended, as the fan is optimized to operate with its own control. Thus, to maintain silence and efficiency, it is better to use the integrated setting rather than an external regulator.
Fortunately, it has a multi-speed setting that allows you to adjust the flow to the size of your crop, thus limiting noise. At low speed, the noise level remains reasonable (around 30 dB). However, when used at full power, it can become noisier than a smaller, more appropriately sized model.
For optimal, quieter, and economical operation, an extractor with a flow rate of around 100 to 200 m³/h would be ideal for your tent.
The flow rate of 870 m³/h of the CAN-FILTER ISO-MAX 200 is compatible with a 200 mm standard carbon filter, provided it is of good quality. A slight reduction in flow may occur due to the natural resistance of the filter, but it generally remains low and does not significantly impact performance in a SCROG system under LED or LCD lighting.
For optimal results, it is advisable to use a well-maintained and regularly replaced filter. This configuration ensures efficient air renewal while limiting performance losses.
The ISO-MAX 200mm fan from CAN FILTER emits a sound level of about 59 dB(A) at full power (870 m³/h), measured at one meter. This level is moderate and made more pleasant by the acoustic insulation housing and the silent motor. For a 1x1 m grow room under LED lighting, this airflow is more than sufficient to ensure good air renewal.
If sound comfort is important, it is recommended to use the reduced speed between 300 and 600 m³/h to limit noise while maintaining effective ventilation. The ISO-MAX 200mm thus offers an excellent balance between performance and discretion, perfectly suited for compact spaces.
The ISO-MAX 200mm extractor has at least two operating speeds, allowing for airflow adjustment according to the specific needs of your crop. This adjustment facilitates humidity and ventilation management while limiting noise levels. For more precise speed control, it is possible to add a compatible dimmer, but the standard version already offers effective modulation.
The motor of the ISO-MAX 200mm extractor is mounted on ball bearings, ensuring robustness and prolonged lifespan during continuous use. Although no exact duration is specified, its solid galvanized steel design and corrosion protection ensure reliability over several years, provided regular maintenance is carried out, particularly cleaning the blades to avoid dust accumulation.
The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and most early mechanical or electronic failures. Under normal use and with regular maintenance (notably of the charcoal filter and connections), this warranty is generally sufficient to cover any potential issues.
To maximize the lifespan, it is advisable to follow maintenance recommendations and replace the charcoal filter according to its wear, as a saturated filter can unnecessarily stress the extractor.
In summary, for standard indoor use, the reliability is very satisfactory and the 2-year warranty is appropriate for this type of equipment.
The motor of the ISO-MAX 200 mm – Dosenfilter – 870 m³/h is designed for continuous and robust operation, thanks to a high-efficiency stator-rotor motor equipped with thermal protection against overheating. This design allows for intensive use without the risk of quick damage.
Although no precise lifespan in hours is provided, with regular maintenance (especially cleaning the blades to prevent dust and imbalance), this motor can easily last several years in continuous use. Its longevity relies on its built-in protection and appropriate maintenance, typical of high-performance fans for indoor cultivation.
The ISO-MAX 200 mm offers an excellent airflow per watt ratio, ranging between 6.7 and 7.2 m³/h per watt depending on the power considered (121 to 130 W). This ratio is higher or equivalent to that of similar 200 mm extractors, which generally range around 5 to 7 m³/h per watt.
Its German axial motor RUCK Etaline, equipped with optimized centrifugal blades, allows for a high airflow of 870 m³/h with moderate electrical consumption. Moreover, the 3-speed control offers valuable flexibility to adjust airflow and consumption based on needs.
This model stands out for providing a very good compromise between energy efficiency, silence, and robustness, making it a solid choice for effective and economical indoor cultivation ventilation.
The charcoal filter ISO-MAX 200mm - CAN FILTER - 870m³/h is perfectly compatible with the ISO-MAX 200mm extractor, ensuring efficient filtration with a flow rate of 870 m³/h and an optimal connection of 200 mm.
However, to manage two crops in parallel in separate boxes, it is preferable to use a dedicated extractor and filter for each space. Indeed, a single system could lose efficiency, with pressure drops and less effective filtration.
In summary: one extractor and filter per box will ensure optimal ventilation and filtration, limiting odors and maintaining good air quality in each growing space.
It is possible to use the ISO-MAX 200mm CAN FILTER 870m³/h extractor with two carbon filters in series to strengthen odor filtration, but this results in increased resistance to airflow. This double filtration may significantly reduce the effective airflow, as the ISO-MAX, while powerful, has a fixed maximum capacity and additional pressure loss can harm overall ventilation.
To limit this loss, the installation must be perfectly airtight and well-mounted. Otherwise, it is better to opt for a more powerful extractor or consider another configuration like parallel filtration or a pre-filter.
In summary, the ISO-MAX 200 mm is ideal for a single carbon filter. Using two filters in series without adjusting the equipment can compromise air renewal and plant health.
