This bar is particularly suitable for medium growing spaces, ensuring a balance between controlled energy consumption and light performance.
What is the optimal coverage in cm for this Cosmorrow Flowering 40W 90cm LED bar to achieve maximum yield without overloading the plant with light, and how should it be positioned relative to the top of the plants during flowering?
For the Cosmorrow Flowering 40W - 90cm LED bar, the optimal coverage for maximum yield without overloading your plants is about 100 cm wide by 40 cm deep. This area allows for ideal uniform lighting for the flowering phase.
Regarding positioning, it is recommended to hang the bar at a distance of 15 to 35 cm above the top of the plants. This height ensures good light penetration while avoiding stress or burns related to excess light.
This configuration guarantees a perfect balance between intensity and coverage to maximize your yields without the risk of light overheating.
What is the effective light intensity in micromoles per second of the Cosmorrow Flowering 40w 90cm LED bar for a micro space of 60x60 cm?
The Cosmorrow Flowering 40W - 90cm LED bar provides an effective light intensity of about 107 μmol/s (PPF) for a micro space of 60x60 cm, with a light efficiency PPE of 2.7 μmol/s/W. This power ensures an average PPFD of 240 μmol/m²/s, ideal for optimal flowering in a confined space of this size.
Is integration possible with a voice assistant to control the LED bar? Is remote monitoring of temperature and humidity feasible? Does the bar support an automation system for watering and lighting?
The Cosmorrow Flowering LED bar 40W - 90cm is a high-performance horticultural LED bar that is waterproof, but it does not have native integration with a voice assistant for direct control. Similarly, it does not have internal sensors or remote monitoring for temperature or humidity.
Regarding automation, the bar operates with a non-dimmable fixed power supply and does not support an integrated automation system for watering or lighting. For these functions, external solutions such as timers or compatible home automation systems will need to be used.
What is the light yield in micromoles per joule (umol/J) of the Cosmorrow Flowering 40W LED bar at 90 cm, and what is the shape of its PPFD curve in cm² at a distance of 30 cm?
The Cosmorrow Flowering 40W - 90cm LED bar offers a light yield of approximately 2.0 μmol/J, with a production of 80 μmol/s for 40 W consumed, which is very efficient for growth under LED lighting.
Regarding the PPFD curve at a distance of 30 cm, the light is distributed evenly over a linear area of approximately 90 cm long, with an optimal coverage recommended between 25 and 35 cm distance. The distribution is therefore wide and regular, ideal for uniform flowering, even though precise data in cm² is not available.
Can we simultaneously use two Cosmorrow Flowering 40W LED bars in the same box with independent timers to optimize a parallel cultivation rotation without overheating or exceeding electrical capacity?
It is quite possible to use two Cosmorrow Flowering 40W - 90 cm LED bars simultaneously in the same box with independent timers to optimize a parallel cultivation rotation.
To do this, one must ensure to have a power supply capable of providing around 80W at 24V, as each bar consumes 40W. Good ventilation is essential to avoid overheating, especially since the bars have a passive heatsink. Finally, maintaining a spacing of 25 to 35 cm between the LEDs and the plants will promote heat dissipation and ensure good growing conditions.
In summary, this setup is technically compatible and safe if you adapt the power supply, optimize ventilation, and manage each bar with its own timer to independently control the lighting cycles.
