The Spektra Master 720W full spectrum LED panel is optimized for a growing area of approximately 1.40 m x 1.40 m, or nearly 2 m², ensuring even light coverage thanks to its wide 120° dispersion angle.
To manage varieties with different light needs, it is advisable to group plants according to their light tolerance: place those sensitive to light on the periphery where the intensity is naturally lower, or vary the height of the panel to adjust the light locally.
The integrated dimmable feature allows you to adjust the intensity at five levels (25% to 100%):
To avoid any negative impact, adjust the intensity in steps while monitoring the plants' condition, and adapt the height of the panel according to the light power to prevent overheating and burns.
This fine management enables optimizing the growth and flowering of multiple varieties under a single panel while preserving their health.
The Spektra Master LED Panel - 720W offers a full spectrum and a dimmable function via 0-10V interface, which is interesting for integration into a home automation system. However, it does not have native compatibility with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant) or standard protocols like MQTT, Zigbee, or Z-Wave.
To automate lighting and watering remotely, it is essential to use a controller or third-party system capable of managing the dimming function (0-10V) and communicating via MQTT or other protocols. Therefore, this solution requires additional equipment to control the Spektra Master and your watering devices.
If you are looking for a panel that is easier to integrate, feel free to explore our range of LED panels compatible with home automation systems via external dimmers or connected solutions.
The Spektra Master 720W panel is perfectly suited for a SCROG technique on an area up to approximately 1.4 m², thanks to its wide 120° light angle and full spectrum that ensure good light uniformity. However, for an area of 1.4x1.4 m (almost 2 m²), there may be shadow areas at the edges, as the power per square meter might be a little insufficient.
To optimize lighting without shadow areas on this surface, it is preferable to use two panels of more moderate power placed strategically, or to stick to a slightly smaller area around 1.2x1.2 m with this single panel.
In summary, the Spektra Master 720W is an excellent choice for a SCROG up to 1.4 m², but requires adjustment if the area is larger to avoid poorly lit areas.
The Spektra Master 720W LED panel is perfectly capable of replacing a traditional HPS system for an area of about 1 m², without loss of yield or flowering quality. With a PPF of 2016 µmol/s and an efficiency of 2.7 µmol/J, it offers comparable, if not superior, light output to a 1000W HPS.
Its full spectrum lighting is optimized to support all phases of growth and flowering, ensuring harmonious development and quality blooming. Moreover, the light concentration at 120° improves light penetration while reducing heat generation, which promotes a more stable and efficient growing environment.
In summary, this panel is an excellent choice for modern indoor cultivation, combining performance, energy efficiency, and growth quality.
To make the most of the Spektra Master 720W panel while controlling electricity consumption, it is essential to gradually adjust the intensity via the 5-level dimmable function:
A gradual increase in intensity, combined with regular height adjustment of the panel and techniques like low-stress training (LST, SCROG), allows for optimal lighting and maximum yield without exceeding the ideal electricity consumption.
The Spektra Master 720W panel is powerful and designed for an ideal area well above 80x80 cm, but it remains compatible with this restricted space. Thanks to its dimmable feature, you can adjust the light intensity (from 25% to 100%) to avoid overexposure and ensure good plant development.
Its wide 120° lighting angle allows for uniform coverage over this small area without needing to add multiple panels. By playing with the installation height and power, you can perfectly optimize the light for a dense and uniform crop in this 0.64 m² space.
To optimize the use of the Spektra Master 720W LED panel in a multi-variety crop, it is essential to take advantage of its five-level light intensity adjustment to adapt the light power according to the specific needs of each plant and phase (growth or flowering). With its wide diffusion (120° angle), it ensures uniform coverage, avoiding shadow zones.
The spatial positioning of the plants must be well thought out: place the most demanding varieties or those with a high light requirement in the center, and the more sensitive or less light-needy ones towards the periphery. For optimal management, the integration of a 0-10V automated control can precisely modulate the intensity according to the different varieties and growth stages without constant intervention.
Finally, remember that lighting works in concert with climate management, watering, and nutrition to achieve the best results.
