How to use it

Rinse the grit to remove residual dust. A starting proportion of 10 to 30 % is suggested for growing mixes; adjust as required, or use it as a decorative top layer. Assess the final weight of the container before moving it.

Weight and particle size affect the result: this component does not lighten a pot like perlite. A layer of grit does not replace drainage. Prevent animals from ingesting it.
