The Aqua Master Tools S300 Pro 2 measures pH and temperature directly in soft, moist substrates or in liquids. This reference has an integrated rigid probe.

Choosing the right measurement method

Substrate measurements complement checks of your irrigation water. The medium must be sufficiently moist and soft to ensure proper contact with the probe; do not force it into dry, compacted or stony soil.

Preparing comparable measurements

Follow the model's procedure and wait for the values to stabilise. Compare samples taken under similar conditions; a substrate reading and an irrigation-water reading represent different measurement points.

Storage and maintenance

Store the pH probe with the KCl solution recommended by the manufacturer. Rinse the probe after use and replace its protective cap. Check calibration after every replacement.
