Product details

How to use it

Remove the old compost and gently rinse the roots before repotting. The mix can be used in semi-hydroponics with a suitable reservoir or with monitored watering. Do not automatically retain the watering frequency used for organic compost.

The particle size is described as fine, with no numerical dimensions published. For large roots and containers, compare the Chunky version rather than assuming both recipes behave in the same way.

Related choices

• Chunky Houseplant Mineral Mix : to compare particle sizes according to roots and pot size.
• Base Mineral Mix : an explicitly unfertilised mineral base.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Fine rather than Chunky?

Fine is intended for delicate roots and small pots. Chunky creates larger spaces between particles for thick roots and large containers.

Is it only for mature plants?

No. Young plants and already rooted cuttings are among the listed applications.
