Question 2

Is this Metrop MAM fertilizer also effective in hydroponics, especially for strengthening the root system and resistance to stress, or is it better suited only for soil?

Accepted Answer

The Metrop MAM fertilizer, formulated for mother plants, is a biomineral concentrated in chelated macro and micronutrients, with an organic matrix derived from marine algae, promoting vigorous root development and good stress resistance. Although it is often used in soil, its composition makes it well-suited for hydroponics. In hydroponics, Metrop MAM effectively supports root growth and optimizes nutrient absorption, which is crucial for healthy and robust off-soil crops. Its versatility makes it a relevant choice to enhance the root system and the vitality of mother plants in a hydroponic system.

Question 3

What is the dosage and frequency difference between mother plants and seedlings with Metrop MAM fertilizer to optimize watering automation?

Accepted Answer

For the Metrop MAM fertilizer, the main difference between mother plants and seedlings lies in the dosage and its progression: Mother plants: a standard dosage of 5 ml for 10 L of water, applied about once a week. This dosage can be adjusted up to 100 ml for 100 L in hydroponics or potting soil as needed. Seedlings: it is recommended to start more gently, for example 2.5 ml for 10 L of water, then gradually increase to 5 ml/10 L, with the same weekly frequency. This avoids any stress related to excess nutrients on fragile young plants. To automate your watering, schedule a weekly application by adjusting the dosage according to growth and substrate. This method ensures a balanced and appropriate supply that perfectly supports the vitality of your mother plants while respecting the delicateness of seedlings.

Question 4

What is the difference in yield or resistance observed between Metrop's MAM fertilizer and a standard mother plants fertilizer?

Accepted Answer

The MAM from Metrop stands out from conventional fertilizers due to its formula enriched with macro- and micro-elements as well as organic matter derived from algae, which effectively stimulates root development. This specific composition promotes better yield in healthy cuttings and optimal health for mother plants.Furthermore, MAM enhances the resistance of plants to environmental stresses such as heat, humidity, or disease attacks, which is not always guaranteed with standard fertilizers. In summary, it ensures better vitality and a more stable and sustainable production for your mother plants.

Question 5

What specific effects on root vigor can I expect with this fertilizer compared to a conventional product without algae?

Accepted Answer

The Mother Plant Fertilizer - MAM - Metrop specifically acts on root vigor by stimulating a denser and more robust root development thanks to its formula enriched with organic matter from marine algae, which is absent in conventional fertilizers. This promotes better absorption of water and nutrients, resulting in a healthier and more resilient plant. Unlike a conventional fertilizer without algae, MAM also improves the plants' resistance to environmental stresses (heat, humidity, diseases), a valuable asset for keeping mother plants and their cuttings in top shape. Its balanced NPK formula (20-20-8) is designed to precisely meet the needs of plants in the multiplication phase. In summary, you can expect enhanced root development and better overall health for your plants thanks to this fertilizer. It is an effective choice to maximize vitality from the base, at the root level.

Question 6

What is the optimal amount of Metrop MAM fertilizer to use for maintaining ideal root health on mother plants in advanced growth?

Accepted Answer

To maintain ideal root health on your mother plants in advanced growth, it is recommended to use 50 ml of Metrop MAM fertilizer for 100 liters of water, applied once a week during watering. This dosage provides a balanced supply of essential nutrients (NPK 20-20-8) and trace elements, promoting vigorous root growth. For optimal complementary nutritional intake, add 20 ml of Calgreen for 100 liters of water. This nutritional routine effectively compensates for losses related to the regular production of cuttings, ensuring strong mother plants and healthy roots, which are essential for the successful establishment of young plants.

Question 7

What is the impact of Metrop MAM fertilizer on growth in hydroponics compared to soil cultivation?

Accepted Answer

Metrop MAM is a highly concentrated liquid fertilizer, perfectly suited for the growth of mother plants in both hydroponics and soil. In hydroponics, it promotes a larger root biomass and optimizes the direct absorption of nutrients from the nutrient solution, particularly due to its richness in Kelpak (seaweed extract) which effectively stimulates root development. This allows for rapid and robust growth in a soil-less environment, with better stress management for the plants. In soil cultivation, Metrop MAM also stimulates root growth while improving the structure and fertility of the soil due to its organic matter. It helps the plant recover quickly after cutting and maintain a nutrient reserve in the leaves, which is essential for producing quality cuttings. In summary, Metrop MAM offers remarkable efficiency in both contexts, with an advantage in hydroponics for precise control of inputs and often faster root development, while remaining fully effective in soil.

Question 8

Can Metrop MAM fertilizer be used in hydroponics with the same doses as for soil cultivation?

Accepted Answer

Metrop MAM can be perfectly used in hydroponics, with a recommended dose of about 100 ml for 100 liters of water, which generally corresponds to the dose used in soil cultivation. Depending on the hydroponic system, especially in DWC (Deep Water Culture), this dose remains appropriate. However, it is always best to slightly adjust according to the specific needs of your setup to ensure optimal nutrition.

Question 9

What is the impact of the regular use of Metrop MAM fertilizer on mother plants in terms of resistance to environmental stress and reproductive capacity over a complete growing period?

Accepted Answer

The regular use of Metrop MAM fertilizer significantly enhances the resistance of mother plants to environmental stresses such as heat, humidity, or diseases thanks to its marine algae extracts that stimulate root development and overall vitality. In terms of reproductive capacity, its balanced formulation (NPK 20-20-8) promotes vigorous growth and quick recovery after harvesting, allowing the plants to produce healthy and robust cuttings while maintaining their vigor throughout the entire growing cycle.Ultimately, this intensive nutritional care ensures stronger, more dynamic mother plants capable of effectively supporting successive cutting cycles.

In summary, Metrop MAM is a reliable solution for keeping mother plants in top shape over several cycles, without significant loss of their energy or production.

Question 12

How do you integrate Metrop MAM fertilizer into an automated watering system to optimize the growth of mother plants while avoiding overdosing?

Accepted Answer

To integrate Metrop MAM fertilizer into an automated watering system, a precise dosage must be followed: dilute 50 mL of MAM in 100 liters of water, which is about 0.5 mL/L. This solution will be ideal to provide the necessary nutrients to your mother plants without the risk of overdosing. We recommend weekly watering with this dilution to ensure a regular and controlled supply. Make sure to mix the solution well before each application to guarantee a homogeneous concentration. Carefully monitor the condition of your plants to adjust the dosage or frequency if necessary, especially for young plants that require more care. This method allows you to fully benefit from the nutritional advantages of MAM (phosphorus, magnesium, trace elements, seaweed extracts) while avoiding excesses that could harm the vitality and production of cuttings.

Question 13

Can the dosage and frequency of applying Metrop MAM fertilizer be integrated into a home automation system to automate precise watering according to the needs of mother plants?

Accepted Answer

The fertilizer Metrop MAM is perfectly suited for use in an automated system due to its concentrated liquid form, which is easy to dilute. The recommended dosage of 50 ml for 100 liters of water, applied once a week, can be programmed into a home automation system to precisely automate the addition of fertilizer during watering. By integrating this dosage and frequency into a controlled irrigation system, possibly coupled with moisture sensors, you will be able to ensure a regular and appropriate supply to meet the specific needs of your mother plants, thereby optimizing their root health and vigor while avoiding any risk of overdose.
