The Gorilla Shorty Indoor with its height adjustable up to 173 cm is designed to optimize air circulation thanks to its robust structure, double-bend air inlets, and insect screens. This design promotes good air renewal in a compact space. However, to effectively avoid heat accumulation and neutralize odors, an extractor fan remains essential. Height alone is not sufficient to ensure active ventilation and precise control of the indoor climate.
For optimal performance, we recommend pairing it with an extraction system suited to the size of the tent. Feel free to check our extractors to find one that perfectly fits your needs.
The adjustable height up to 173 cm of the Gorilla Shorty Indoor 150x150x150 / 170cm does indeed allow for the comfortable cultivation of high-growing varieties. This adjustment, via an integrated lifting kit, offers the necessary flexibility to support growth phases without constraint.
Air circulation is optimized thanks to a careful arrangement of ventilation openings, ensuring efficient air renewal without disturbing plant growth. Furthermore, the 1680D fabric with ultra-reflective mylar ensures light reflection up to 9 times higher than standard materials, redistributing about 30% more light for optimal lighting.
In summary, this tent combines adjustable height, efficient ventilation, and maximum reflection for a harmonious and effective cultivation, even for the bulkiest plants.
For the Gorilla Shorty Indoor tent 150x150x170 cm, we recommend an extractor fan with a flow rate between 100 and 120 m³/h. This flow rate allows for effective air renewal while limiting noise. Prefer a model with dual or triple speed with a noise level below 40 dB, and an integrated speed controller to adjust the flow as needed.
A carbon filter suitable for this flow rate is essential to neutralize odors, especially during the flowering phase. Remember to leave the passive air inlets open at the bottom of the tent to facilitate the entry of fresh air and create a slight negative pressure, thus enhancing the system's efficiency.
For optimal silence, the use of soundproof ducts between the extractor, the filter and the outside is highly recommended, as well as closing other unused ports. This system ensures efficient ventilation, a homogeneous climate, and pleasant sound comfort for indoor cultivation.
The Gorilla Shorty Indoor tent with compact dimensions of 150x150x170 cm is specially optimized for indoor cultivation in small spaces such as a basement, closet, or small setup. Its adjustable height from 150 to 170 cm makes it ideal for controlled growth plants, especially with techniques like SCROG or LST, which promote a controlled canopy and more horizontal growth.
It is perfectly suited for soil or hydroponic cultivation for 4 to 6 plants depending on the method used. Its ultra-reflective mylar interior wall ensures optimal light diffusion, particularly suited for horticultural LED lighting.
This tent is therefore an excellent choice for small projects, the propagation of clones, or micro-cultivation requiring precise environmental control (light, humidity, temperature) in a confined space.
Practice topping, LST, or SCROG to uniform the canopy and optimize light exposure. Adjust the distance between the lamp and plants (typically between 30 and 60 cm) based on the chosen LED power.
Finally, ensure not to overload the tent, select compact varieties, and ensure effective ventilation through the numerous ports and the thick fabric of the tent to avoid overheating and foster a healthy environment.
The adjustable height of up to 173 cm of the Gorilla Shorty Indoor - 150x150x150 / 170cm generally allows for serene flowering under CMH or high-power LED lamps, provided that the height of your plants is well managed. Indeed, CMH lamps require a safety distance of about 30-45 cm and powerful LEDs at least 30-40 cm above the foliage to avoid burns.
Therefore, one must consider the height of the pot, that of the plants (ideally 100-120 cm for flowering) and the lamp with its support. This model with extension is perfect for growing under height constraints, but careful management of plant vigor and selection of compact varieties remain essential.
In summary, this tent offers the necessary volume for safe flowering in LED or CMH, provided there is good training and regular adjustment of the light height.
For a Gorilla Shorty Indoor tent of 150x150x170 cm, we recommend an exhaust fan with a flow rate of 100 to 120 m³/h. This flow rate ensures effective air exchange, limiting heat and humidity in a restricted space. Choose a model with multiple speeds, preferably equipped with a built-in controller and exhibiting a noise level of less than 40 dB, to adjust ventilation according to your plants' needs.
For optimal odor control, a carbon filter suitable for this flow rate is necessary. Also, ensure that the passive air intakes at the bottom of the tent are open to promote adequate air circulation and maintain a slight negative pressure inside. Finally, using soundproof ducts between the extractor and filter enhances climate management and minimizes surrounding noise.
The Gorilla Shorty Indoor tent is designed with strong, quality materials, but it does not provide specific sound insulation. To reduce extraction noise without harming ventilation, several effective solutions exist:
These adjustments help optimize sound comfort while maintaining the essential airflow necessary for indoor cultivation.
The maximum height of 173 cm with the Gorilla Shorty Indoor - 150x150x150 / 170cm elevation kit is perfectly suitable for hydroponic plants that are kept around 150 cm. This height allows for good control over the light-to-plant distance, which is essential during flowering.
However, some varieties may exceed this height, especially in hydroponics, where growth is often faster and more generous. In this case, it will be necessary to apply volume management techniques such as SCROG or LST, or to provide a growing space with a greater height.
In summary, this model is ideal for crops whose height does not exceed 170 cm and remains an excellent choice for managing your growing environment.
The elevation kit of the Gorilla Shorty Indoor - 150x150x150 / 170cm offers a height adjustment between 150 and 170 cm, to adapt the space according to the growth or flowering phase. This flexibility helps prevent overly tall plants from getting too close to the LEDs, while optimizing the light/plants distance for maximum efficiency.
Thanks to a robust and easy-to-adjust structure, it also provides practical interior space management, essential in compact indoor growing. Combined with the waterproof EZ View windows, it facilitates plant monitoring without disrupting the environment. This kit is a real plus for perfectly mastering each stage of cultivation, from vegetative development to flowering.
The Gorilla Shorty Indoor 150x150x150 / 170 cm tent does indeed feature an adjustable interior height system, thanks to an integrated elevation kit. This device allows you to increase the base height from 150 cm to about 170-173 cm, easily accommodating different stages of growth and flowering.
This adjustment optimizes the distance between the LED lights and the plants to ensure ideal light penetration without the risk of burning, while facilitating the use of techniques like SCROG or LST.
Furthermore, the high-strength steel structure, equipped with patented assembly pins, guarantees excellent stability even with the extension kit, easily supporting the weight of the plants and the tension of the net.
In summary, the Gorilla Shorty Indoor combines flexibility and sturdiness for easy adjustment of the interior height without compromising the stability of the frame.
To effectively manage the variable height of the Gorilla Shorty Indoor - 150x150x150 / 170cm, you should use its patented elevation kit that adjusts the height from 150 to about 170-173 cm. During the growth phase, a lower height concentrates the light and promotes vegetation. In the flowering phase, it is preferable to increase the height to avoid light stress and allow for good vertical development.
The interior, with its ultra-reflective 1680D mylar lining, maximizes light diffusion, thus optimizing photosynthesis. Combine this with well-thought-out ventilation to avoid overheating and air stagnation, particularly by adjusting the extraction elements.
Finally, the EZ View windows allow monitoring of progress without opening the tent, preserving the stability of the microclimate (temperature, humidity). Adjust the height according to the phases and regularly monitor to make the most of this compact and efficient space.
To optimize initial growth in the Gorilla Shorty Indoor 150x150x150 / 170cm, it is advised to maintain a low height during the vegetative phase. This concentrates the plants' energy on root development and compact foliage, while benefiting from the diamond mylar that maximizes light diffusion. A strict control of temperature, humidity, and ventilation helps to avoid any stress, thus boosting plant vigor.
During the flowering phase, the adjustable height should be gradually increased to 170 cm, incorporating the extension kit if necessary. This adjustment provides sufficient space for bud development, preventing compression and stretching of the plants. Frequent height readjustment according to growth ensures an optimal environment without energy loss.
This differentiated management fully exploits the modularity and environmental efficiency of the tent to maximize the health and yield of your indoor crops.
The Gorilla Shorty Indoor 150x150x150 / 170cm tent is designed to provide excellent airtightness thanks to its very dense fabric and an ultra-reflective Mylar interior, ideal for optimizing light. It features numerous ventilation ports allowing for the installation of air extractors, including silent models, ensuring good ventilation despite its compact size.
Regarding odor filtration, the tent can accommodate activated charcoal filters, which are essential for limiting unpleasant odors. However, the limited space requires careful arrangement to effectively position these filters while controlling noise levels.
In summary, this tent indeed allows for effective ventilation while limiting noise and odors, provided that extractors and filters suitable for its small volume are chosen and placed wisely.
The patented frame of the Gorilla Shorty Indoor Grow Tent - 150x150x150 / 170cm is made of robust steel, with steel tubing and poles, offering 2 to 5 times more strength than standard frames. This structure is paired with a very dense fabric, ensuring excellent stability.
An air extractor of over 200 m³/h represents a moderate load for this tent. Thanks to its professional design, the tent perfectly supports this type of system without any notable risk of bending, deformation, or instability.
You can confidently equip this tent with a powerful extractor; the robustness of the frame and the quality of the materials ensure reliable and durable mechanical performance.
The model Gorilla Shorty Indoor - 150x150x150 / 170cm offers manual adjustment of the height of the elevation kit, without automatic control or direct compatibility with a voice assistant. Likewise, the tent provides suitable openings for ventilation installation, but without an integrated system or connected control.
To control the height or ventilation via a voice assistant, you will need to add compatible home automation devices (sensors, connected fans, motors), which can then be integrated into your voice system. The tent itself is designed as a robust and high-performance space, without native automated control.
This configuration still allows you to benefit from an optimal environment, with the possibility of adding connected solutions according to your needs.
For the Gorilla Shorty Indoor Grow Tent 150x150x150 / 170cm, the gross area is 2.25 m² (150 cm x 150 cm). However, taking into account the patented 19 mm steel frame and the internal fittings, the actual cultivable area is slightly reduced.
An estimated loss of about 5 to 10 cm on each side gives a usable area of approximately 140 cm x 140 cm, which is about 1.9 to 2 m². This reduction is normal considering the robust structure that ensures solidity and stability while optimizing the available space.
This area remains very comfortable for indoor cultivation under LED lighting, fully making use of the tent's volume.
For the Gorilla Shorty Indoor 150x150x150 tent with 1680D mylar, the temperature difference between the inside and outside during continuous use at full LED or HPS power mainly depends on the ventilation.
Without effective ventilation, the internal temperature can exceed by up to 5 to 10°C above the ambient temperature. With proper air extraction (100 to 120 m³/h), this difference is greatly reduced to between 1 and 3°C, ensuring a stable microclimate and avoiding overheating.
The 1680D mylar reflects light very well but can retain heat, hence the paramount importance of a high-performance ventilation system that is regularly monitored.
