Complete 60 × 60 grow tent kit: which one should beginners choose?

A complete 60 × 60 cm indoor grow kit lets you start with a compact setup and equipment selected to work together. At GrowLED, we have designed three levels: Essentiel to keep costs down, Confort for more equipment and Premium for higher-end hardware. The tent, LED light, ventilation, pots, potting soil, nutrients and accessories are brought together in one configuration checked by our team.

This guide helps you choose your kit, understand what it contains and prepare for installation. The illustrations show peppers growing in a reflective tent: a dedicated indoor growing space to adapt to the plants you want to grow.

Looking for a straightforward way to get started?

Start with your budget and whether you need odour filtration. All three kits include four 11 L pots and 50 L of potting soil. Essentiel has no carbon filter; Confort and Premium include one.

Which complete 60 × 60 kit should you choose: Essentiel, Confort or Premium?

Each level equips the same floor area. The differences are the tent, lighting, extraction and accessories. Here is what each configuration offers in practice.

Wattage alone does not determine the equipment level: Confort uses fewer watts than Essentiel while adding other equipment. Premium lets you adjust the light intensity to the plants' needs; running at maximum power is not compulsory.

A 60 × 60 cm space to start growing indoors

This format provides 0.36 m² of floor space. It creates a dedicated space for a small grow without devoting a whole room to plants. Measure the available height too: these tents are 158 to 160 cm tall, and the pots, light and filter, where included, occupy part of that volume.

For peppers, choose a variety whose mature size suits your space and leave room for watering and inspecting the leaves. Four pots are supplied: you do not have to use them all. The shape of the mature plant matters more than a stated plant count.

What does the kit contain so accessories are not overlooked?

A complete kit aims to avoid discovering a missing hanger or connector during installation. We group the equipment by function, with the accessories needed for the chosen configuration.

The tent and lighting

The tent defines the space. The LED supplies light and the timer, mechanical or connected depending on the kit, manages the schedule.

Air exchange

The extractor, duct and clamps form the exhaust route. A fan circulates air inside the tent. Confort and Premium include a carbon filter.

Pots and nutrients

Pots, saucers, potting soil and nutrients are included. The product ranges and measuring accessories are detailed in each kit's component list.

The small essentials

Hangers, a power strip and a thermohygrometer complete the setup. pH tools and additional accessories vary with the chosen level.

What you still need to provide

Seeds or plants and a watering can are not included. You also need water, a power supply and a suitable location. Assemble the kit on arrival; watering remains manual.

The detailed product-page list defines your order, particularly if you change a size or option. This lets you see exactly which items you will receive.

Compatibility checked by the GrowLED team

Designing a kit means checking how the parts work together: the light must fit inside the tent, ventilation parts must connect and the pots must fit with their saucers. Mountings and scheduling are part of this process too.

We carry out these checks when designing our kits. You start with a coherent setup and a team that knows its contents and can support you. If you want to replace a device, contact us to adapt the configuration while maintaining compatibility.

Assembly is made simpler, then settings are adjusted to your room and the plants you grow. Keep monitoring temperature, humidity and watering throughout the grow.

How do you install the 60 × 60 cm kit in five steps?

Identify all the parts first, then fit the suspended equipment before filling the pots. This leaves you space to work inside the tent.

  1. Assemble the tent. Place it on a stable floor with access to the door and ventilation openings.
  2. Hang the LED light. Use the supplied mountings. Follow the instructions for distance from the plants and, where adjustable, the intensity setting.
  3. Connect the extraction. Secure the duct with the clamps. Fit the carbon filter on Confort and Premium and check that all parts are securely held.
  4. Set the schedule and check operation. Choose lighting hours for your crop, position the thermohygrometer and check the ventilation is working.
  5. Prepare the pots. Position the saucers, distribute the potting soil and water according to the plants' needs. For nutrients, follow the range's instructions and the growth stage.
Five installation actions: assemble the tent, hang the LED, connect the duct and filter, set scheduling, then prepare pots and soil.
The five steps illustrated using Confort kit components: tent assembly, light suspension, extraction connection, scheduling and monitoring, then pot preparation. Equipment varies with the chosen configuration.

Keep electrical connections away from water and check the hangers before first use. If you need help with a step, call us on +33 1 88 33 45 52.

Prepared by our team and delivered by UPS, including the potting soil

The GrowLED team packs your kit products in cartons, then UPS delivers them to your home. The potting soil is also packed in a carton: the bag included in the configuration is part of your order, alongside the equipment.

Cartons prepared for home delivery.
The number of cartons depends on the contents of the order.

Check the lead time shown when ordering. It depends on the availability of every component; if one is awaiting restocking, we can advise you on the timing or a possible alternative configuration.

Pay for your kit in 3, 4 or 10 instalments

The Alma card payment option in 3, 4 or 10 instalments is subject to approval and the conditions applicable to your order. The payment schedule, any fees and total cost are shown in the payment module before confirmation. Read about our payment options.

Questions to consider before choosing your kit

Can a beginner install the kit independently?

The configurations are designed to simplify assembly, with the connectors and accessories provided. Take time to identify the parts and read the instructions. Our team can help if you have questions about assembly or settings.

Do I need to buy potting soil and nutrients separately?

All three kits shown include 50 L of potting soil and a selection of nutrients. Check the quantities on the product page if you change an option. Seeds or plants and a watering can remain to be provided.

Does every kit include a carbon filter?

Confort and Premium include one; Essentiel does not. It filters odours in the extraction circuit. Air exchange is still necessary even if your crop does not require odour filtration.

Does Premium run on its own?

It includes lighting scheduling and temperature-controlled extraction. Watering, mixing nutrients and observing the plants remain your responsibility; it is not a fully automatic grow.

Can I upgrade the setup?

Some options are available on the product pages. For equipment changes, ask us before ordering so we can check the available space, connections and consistency of the whole setup.
