In full bloom the plant no longer needs to build leaves: it needs to fill its flowers. Atami's VGN 1-4-4 writes that shift into its formula — nitrogen down to 1, phosphorus and potassium up to 4 — all on a fully plant-based foundation.
Why so little nitrogen?
High nitrogen in bloom sustains foliage at the expense of flowers, and often costs you in flavour. By cutting it to 1, VGN 1-4-4 directs all the energy towards production. Phosphorus supports flower formation, potassium their filling and firmness.
- Low nitrogen — The plant stops making leaves and concentrates on flowers.
- Phosphorus at 4 — Flower and fruit formation is supported.
- Potassium at 4 — Filling and tissue firmness follow.
- No animal input — Composed exclusively of plant-derived residues.
Its place in the VGN range

Do you need a booster on top?
VGN 1-4-4 is a base nutrient, not a PK booster. It covers the background nutrition of flowering. If you want an extra push over the final weeks, a booster such as Rokzbastic can be added — but one never replaces the other.

It takes over once flowering is established.
- Dosage — Follow the rate on the bottle.
- Phase — From established flowering through to harvest.
- Before — Takes over from VGN 2-2-4, overlapping by a week.
