Frequently asked questions

About Refurbished — click a question to see the answer.

What is the difference between a refurbished product and a new product?

As an expert, I can tell you that the main difference lies in their history. A refurbished product has been previously used, then reconditioned to strict standards to restore its original performance. A new product, on the other hand, has never been used. What I often see is that refurbished items offer an excellent economic alternative without compromising quality or functionality.

What is the warranty on refurbished products?

I'm happy to reassure you on this point: all our refurbished products come with a 2-year warranty. This is the same duration you would find on many new products, which demonstrates our confidence in the quality of our reconditioning process. I always advise checking the specific conditions, but in practice, this covers manufacturing defects and breakdowns.

How do I know if a refurbished product is suitable for my needs?

To make the right choice, I recommend precisely defining your needs beforehand. For example, if you're looking for LED lighting, consider the growing area, plant type, and your budget. Then, carefully review the refurbished product description to ensure it meets these criteria. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any doubts; I'm here to help you make the right choice.

What are the return conditions for refurbished products?

I understand you may have questions about returns. Our refurbished products are subject to the same return conditions as our new products. If an item doesn't suit you or has a problem, you have a period to return it to us. I invite you to consult our dedicated returns page for all the details, but generally, I recommend keeping the original packaging.

Which refurbished product should I choose to start indoor growing?

If I had to choose a refurbished product for a beginner, I would start with a complete and easy-to-use LED lighting kit. This is often the most crucial element. I advise prioritizing power suitable for a small area to start, so as not to feel overwhelmed. A good refurbished grow kit can be an excellent entry point, as it often includes the essentials.

How do I maintain and care for refurbished LED grow equipment?

Maintaining refurbished equipment is similar to new, and it's a point I often emphasize. I recommend regularly cleaning surfaces, especially the LED lenses, to optimize light diffusion. Check electrical connections and ensure adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. Good maintenance significantly extends the lifespan of your equipment.
