Firm up your late flowering with Atami's Rokzbastic

In the final weeks the plant stops building and starts filling. At that stage potassium governs sugar transport into the flowers and the firmness of the tissue. Rokzbastic pushes that lever further than conventional PK products with a PK 10-20 ratio — twice as much potassium as phosphorus.

Why this PK ratio changes the outcome

Most flowering boosters balance phosphorus and potassium. Rokzbastic makes a different choice: double the potassium. That deliberate imbalance suits varieties with long flowering and ripening phases, whose potassium demand runs on well past the phosphorus peak.

• Firmer flowers — potassium strengthens tissue structure and bud hold.
• More weight — sugar transport to the storage sites is better supplied.
• Iron available — 1% iron supports enzyme processes when the plant is working hardest.
• Long ripening covered — the supply holds across the whole fruiting phase.

When to bring it into the programme

Rokzbastic is not a base nutrient: it complements your feed, it does not replace it. Introduce it over the final 4 to 6 weeks of flowering, throughout fruiting and ripening, alongside your usual nutrients. Brought in too early, it unbalances the feed while the plant still needs nitrogen.

An end-of-cycle product — its place is in the last weeks, not at the start of bloom.

Which substrates and which crops?

Rokzbastic is a universal nutrient: it suits fruit and vegetable crops as well as ornamentals with demanding flowering, in soil, coco and hydroponics, hand-watered or on an automated system.

How to use Rokzbastic

A modest rate is enough: this product is concentrated, and it raises the EC of your solution.

• Dosage — 0.5 to 1 ml per litre of water, alongside your base nutrients.
• Window — the final 4 to 6 weeks, through fruiting and ripening.
• Watch the EC — Rokzbastic raises solution conductivity: measure before you water.
• Build up slowly — start at 0.5 ml/L and increase only after seeing how your plants respond.

You harvest flowers and fruit that are denser, firmer and heavier, without having touched your base feed.
